G36 Extension with new modifications

G36, the national waifu of the soldiers of the Bundesrepublik Deutschland, was once criticized for a variety of problems including but not limited to high baseline, hit in the face easy, weak plastic magazines, and invisible red dot in snow, etc.


H&K has received a lot of criticism for this (a classic negative example, the offer is too cheap to care about these little flaws), but so far, thanks to its peers, it hasn't retired as a service rifle compared to any other competitors, especially HK433, with various modifications have been made helping to keep it alive.

People find it hard to use G36 due to her low ergonomics and small number of modifications, in fact, G36 has superb feel on recoil and manipulation, just need a few tweaks.


Lots of things have changed. This time the names of the accessories are more realistic compared to the original ones.

  • Pretty new to all of this, how do I download this and put it in my mod folders?

    • figure it out?

    • Click blue download button top right.

      Proceed with download via clicking on the middle button top right(arrow pointing down).

      Unpack in user/mods folder.

    • If you dont have a winrar equivalent able to open ZIP files on your computer like 7zip- you may not be able to open the DL folders


      Install a compression manager and then you can drag content into the SPT/user/mods folder


      If a mod contains bepinex/plugins - those are mods that can be configured inside the Tarkov.exe game application while the game is open by hitting the F12 key


      Mods may contain files that go into both folders


      By dragging files directly from 7 zip into the appropriate folders- they should cache themselves into the right place


      If a mod isnt in the BEPINEX/plugins or user/mods folder- it will not be loaded by the server or tarkov.exe

  • i can not for the life of me find Ragfair in the trader menu what so ever, the mod doesn't load any errors when i boot the server and i can see him in the profile editor but i can not find him in the menu's what so ever

    • Ragfair is just BSGs internal name for the Flea Market, or I think that's what its supposed to be what its from but it is just the Flea

  • thanks for share, looks very nice as usual, but.....

    I feel like mods like this don't get enough exposure in my game, I want to see rare random PMC's or scav's running around with mod added weapons so I humbly request if not too taxing to include an item code .txt in you uploads? then people like me that like to tweak but can't mod themselves may be able to insert the code into bot .json's in either vanilla or realism. Sorry if I'm asking too much but if its a simple cut and paste exercise and including the .txt file in an update that would be a so awesome.

    Anyway not expecting this to happen or even a reply to this post just wanted to put idea out there and I hope other modders read this and do likewise.

    • However it could break the compatibilty with other equipment mod, maybe someone chad had make a gear mod to use modded weapon.

    • It depends. The AK system is so complete that there is no more modifications on it, bsg has do the job. :kekw:

  • Where can I buy these mods for the G36?


    when I try to mod my G36 the top rail is marked as unavailable

    • Tarkov ragfair as long as you reach lv. 15

    • yeah i figured as much but that is where it says that the parts are not available

    • Uncheck the top box that searches traders only or I have no idea what's going on.

    • Handle iron sight will be closed during the raid, while you can not modify it in UI, and I have no idea on it too. =O

      In fact I haven't see HK243 handguard before, it's cool, maybe I would try it when getting spare time. :kannatiredofthis:

    • I don't think that would be the best way to put any scope with good stability. Maybe is only for flashlights or so. That would be nice and can allow to use the whole handguard without obstacles.


      About the Iron sight. I don't know how to do it. But someone made a mod before who eliminated the use of the auxiliary iron sights from Elcan Specter. In that way I can put any red dot and use it as a secondary sight above the Elcan.
