  • Hello, thanks for the patch
    btw, I haven't used the gun in-game yet but I've found that the gun's Ergo seems bit too low,
    compared to other LMGs like M60, PKP
    (iirc modded M60 was having 20-ish Ergo, meanwhile M249 can only have 5-6)
    so I wanted to buff this Ergo aspect of the gun and.. I dunno what to do.

    I have noticed the base Ergo was set to 80, just like other LMGs with Realism mod
    (checked both MachinegunTemplates.json from Realism and M249 realism patch.json)
    I am not sure what I am missing.. any help will be appreciated! o7

  • for some reason the download won't work. It zips the file but fails to download

    • try using another browser? it seems to work fine with other people.

    • tried it on Chrome and Opra GX still having same issue, don't know why but oh well

    • copy and paste this into a json file

  • how come I've downloaded the patch but it doesn't change any of the stats?

    • make sure the mod (m249) is loaded first, then realism. this also applies to any mod that adds gear and has a realism patch.

      download Load order editor to make it easier.

      Example:

    • I've already done that and there seems to be no difference

    • check if the patch is in the right folder? sadly I'm not very good helping others at troubleshooting.

    • that is very strange. everything seems to be installed correctly. Sadly I wish i could help more but Im not very helpful at troubleshooting for other people.

  • I think you have the wrong patch when I open the file its for the Browning Auto 5 and not for the M249

  • lovely patch for a lovely mod but i need to ask sth. My gun wobbles alot whenever i aim down a scope after i mount the gun, is this a feature or a bug?

    • that may be an issue you would have to ask the mod creator itself about.

  • Is there a chance you could make one for the M107 too? Been searching for a couple days and haven't found one, and I do not trust my own dumbass to attempt it just yet lol. Either way, glad to see the 249 working with realism now

    • I'll try, but I'm very busy due to welding classes. And doing research for the penetration for the ammo is the biggest hurdle for me; but for 50bmg its not going to be hard.
