Not So Realistic aims to give EFT a more casual playstyle, heavily inspired by the SPT Realism Mod
Mod Features:
- Enhanced Medical Kits
- Reduced Weapon Recoil
- Removes the double-action penalty.
- Kriss Vector 9mm now matches the rate of fire of the .45 ACP version (1100 rpm).
- Allows the use of any scope with the Alpha Dog Alpha 9 9x19 sound suppressor.
- RPD and RPDN can now use the same muzzle devices as the AKM.
- New medications: Paracetamol and Exodrine (use with extreme caution)

General Settings for Medkits and Items
- Usage counts for consumables:
- calocUsage, armyBandageUsage, analginPainkillersUsage, etc.: Define the number of uses for each item (whole number).
Custom Settings for Specific Items
Each medkit has customizable properties, such as HP, ability to heal specific injuries, and associated costs:
Note: If the property medKitNameChanges is set to false, the medkit will revert to its default values.
- Grizzly(this applies to other medical kits as wel):
- grizzlyChanges (true or false) - Enable or disable the following changes.
- grizzlyHP (Whole number) - Amount of HP the medkit have.
- GrizzlyCanDoSurgery (true or false) - Enable or disable the ability of the medkit to do surgery like the CMS and Sur12
- GrizzlySurgeryCost (Whole number) - Cost of the surgery
- GrizzlyCanHealHeavyBleeding (true or false) - Enable or disable the ability to heal heavy bleeding.
- GrizzlyHeavyBleedingHealCost (Whole number) - Cost of healing a heavy bleeding.
- GrizzlyCanHealLightBleeding (true or false) - Enable or disable the ability to heal light bleeding.
- GrizzlyLightBleedingHealCost (Whole number) - Cost of healing a light bleeding.
- GrizzlyCanHealFractures (true or false) - Enable or disable the ability to heal fractures.
- GrizzlyFractureHealCost (Whole number) - Cost of healing a fracture.

General Settings
- enable (true or false) - Enable or disable the changes.
- doubleActionAccuracyPenalty (Whole number) - Amount of Accuracy Penalty.
recoilConfig.json
General Settings (values and description from Documentation, here and here)
- enable (true or false) - Enable or disable the changes.
- RecoilCrank (true or false) - if set to true all guns will recoil towards the camera/player's shoulder instead of recoiling forwards.
- RecoilDamping (number) - Up/down wiggle. The higher it is, the more guns will wiggle up/down from recoil.
- RecoilHandDamping (number) - Front/rearward gun/arm wiggle. The higher it is, the more the gun will wiggle forward/back.
This applies to other weapons as well. You have to input a number like 0.5, which represents 50% less smgRecoilUp, for example.
- smgRecoilUp (Number) - Vertical recoil. Simply how much the gun recoils upwards.
- smgRecoilBack (Number) - "Horizontal recoil" in the game stats. It is a lie, it causes the gun to recoil backwards/forwards, not horizontally. This is mostly visual. The gun will actually recoil FORWARD by default. Set "RecoilCrank" to true to get guns to recoil backwards as they should..
- smgRecoilConvergence (Number) - Generally known as "Recoil Autocompensation". This dictates how quickly the gun resets after recoil, and its general snappiness. The *higher* it is, the snappier the gun is, and quicker it resets.
- smgDispersion (Number) - This is used to calculate the radian the gun bounces around in. Basically, the lower the value, the more "spread" you will have in full auto or spamming semi. Generally doesn't do as much as it did pre Patch 14.
- smgDampingHandRotation (Number) - Intensity of vertical recoil. Lower value means more exaggerated movement, and more wiggle after firing.
- smgRecoilCamera (Number) - Camera recoil is much more attached to where your weapon is pointing under recoil. Increace it to have less screen shake.
- smgRecoilCategoryMultiplierHandRotation (Number) - Overall procedural intensity of recoil.
- smgRecoilStableAngleIncreaseStep (Number) - Related to the amount of spread during stabilization period.
In Game (F12 by default)
- Can walk in surgery: Enables or disables walking while performing surgery.
- Can sprint using meds: Enables or disables sprinting while using medical items.
- Can resolve malfunctions without inspection: Allows the player to resolve weapon malfunctions without inspecting the weapon first.
- Remove boss malfunctions: Removes weapon malfunctions caused by bosses. (needs testing)
- Contaminated Food Chance: Chance to the food contaminate the player (0 -> No contamination)
- If you enable Surgery in a medkit (e.g., Grizzly) and disable the "Can walk during surgery" option in the BepInEx configurator (F12), your player will stop walking (similar to CMS and Surv12).

Hello im having a problem with the medical side of this mod. Whenever a bot gets hurt and tries to heal, they get stuck in the healing animation and cant do anything. Ive tried disabling the medical changes in the .json but it still happens.

I'm getting a problem when using surgical kits that my player model just bugs out and I can't do anything but move/run. I also have medical attention installed and disabled the medical config.

If I set everything in the recoil config to 1 I simply have no recoil. Does this mean 1 is 100% less? Your example you gave is a little poor since it's 0.5 which could go either way

Yes,
0.4 = 40% less
0.5 = 50% less.
0.6 = 60% less.
You will need to test the values to find one that suits you; the mod already comes configured the way I like it.

Really nice job on adding the configs to each med kit so we can customize.
I personally did this for my own use but made like the CAR kit, ONLY heal, not stop bleeds etc but can run while using, vs halving to walk to heal a bleed and stop completely for heavy bleed. I play with cursed assaults scav roaming about (which basically hunt you) so move to cms is a must, serv kits i still keep stationary.
semi balances it out.
combining with the recoil tweeks is very welcomed
