Adrenaline Effect 1.1.0

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

No more limping when you get shot!

Do you hate limping when you get shot?!


This mod adds an adrenaline effect when you get shot and take damage, just like real life! It even has a config so you can change the duration, cooldown, and disable downsides!

  • can it be made so that you receive adrenaline after being shot, not being shot AT?

    • You only receive adrenaline when taking damage. It will still apply even if armour blocks the damage

  • +1 for the Tunnel Vision effect bug.

    Off the top of my head, it's possible it's conflicting with Better Bullet Cracks (BBC). Unfortunately I haven't been able to do any investigating for the specific cause.

  • I am also getting the Tunnel Vision effect issue. What's extra odd is two other of my friends are also running the mod, one gets it, one does not. We run all the same mods. I disabled Downsides and while it's gone away, it does still act like I'm getting the painkiller effect every now and again, but it doesn't show as a status, just the screen effect.

  • sometimes i receive tunnel vision effect without a reason. im just walking arround and got this every 1 min

      Just ran a few raids and I can't replicate this problem. Is there anything else I might need to do, or are you just going into a raid? I'd also like to ask if you are running any other mods, as there might be interference!


      The way the code is set up, any time you take damage from a specific category, you will get a painkiller effect. Even if this is a small amount of damage e.g. 1HP from a bullet.


      Either way, as a quick fix you can go into the config BepInEx\Config\dev.dungoof.adrenalineeffect and set Downsides = false to remove the tunnel vision effect for now.
