Props Pause Updated for 3.10+ 1.2.2

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Pause Mod to pause the game instantly to deal with life

This is just Props/Epidemicz pause mod but corrected and seemingly working for 3.10. I may be able to provide some assistance if it's not working, but no guarantees. Will remove if/when somebody wants to take back over.


Simply place the .dll into the Bepinex/plugins folder in your 3.10+ folder.

  • Love the mod! I'm having a bug that when I pause, my weapon get randomily SO HOT after 3~6 shots... Even missfire sometimes. Is there a fix for it?

    • I have yet to see this, are you pausing mid auto dump?

    • No, just pausing when im hidden into a room. then unpause go to fight and the gun instantly get hot with like 2~3 shots. the suppressors get red hot

  • Quick question about the toggle, is that still set to "P" like it is in Epidemicz mod and if so can that be interchangeable with another keybind?

    • It is set to P as far as I know (honestly can't remember if mine is because I set it that way or that was the default). Either way, if you go into the f12 menu you can configure it.

    • Oh boy, no promises. I'll take a look though, this is one of those mods I desperately needed with a wife and kid running around able to sense the moment I find anything of value in a raid.

  • This is the best working pause mod ive ever used lol

    (It still has its problems like scavs being stuck and not actually doing anything, but its rarer than with other mods that ive used)

  • Thanks for updating, tried this in Streets and existing bots seems stop wandering after resuming from the pause, though they are still able to react to shooting, guess the pause interrupts some internal bot decision loop

    • It's entirely possible, bot AI is wonky at best so pausing them may just make them forget where they are. I have noticed on higher combat maps and with things like looting bots they seem to resume movement fairly quickly.

  • Finally I'll be able to let the stray in or out, and take a pee without having to worry about coming back to the Death screen. ^^ :thumbup:

    • In my minimal testing yes. Even stops the airdrop plane mid air so... it can be weird but beats an alt f4 start over if you need to jump up for something.

  • Can't open doors after using lol, I'm stuck in a room in Labs :(

    • I have not encountered that one yet. I also haven't tried on labs haha, but I have been able to open locked and unlocked doors on streets/shoreline/customs after pausing and unpausing.

    • It seems it was the nearest door to me, I was in the room on the 2nd floor, NW side nearest to the parking gate switch overlooking the elevators. The room with the conference table next to the stairs leading up from the elevator to the second floor. That door was working then after pausing I could not use it at all, no prompt would come up.

    • And all other doors are working after unpausing? That's really interesting.

    • Yeah I'm not quite sure why that would be the case if one was suddenly not working. I'll try it again and see if I can replicate.
