Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to v3.8.3. Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

"This should be in AKI by Default" kind of mod. Standalone extensive All-In-One Server mod that comes with User Interface with more than 666+ fields to tinker.

    Turned Quests 'Misc' and 'Ammo Stack' into subsections with switchers - one is user request and second is a mandatory action for profile-editing field.

    Recolored Quests 'Misc' and Raiders everywhere' due to causing issues. Added a tooltip to 'Raiders everywhere'
    Reverted half of functionality from new repeatable quests feature, they cause fatal problems I cannot deal with yet - now the options will only affect already replaced quests, but not newly generated ones.
    Increased storage time cap to 720 hours.
    Limited Reward Spread for repeatable quests to 0-2, because otherwise people would have negatives in rewards.

    The Executable, aka GFVE was remade from scratch on .Net 6 with a new name called `Greed`.
    Completely reworked the system how presets are being stored, applied and manipulated within
    Reworked the system to enable sections, they are now outside of fields inside tab items.
    Licensing, Visuals, Disclaimer of not owning materials, new font, text all over the place.
    A lot of relocations of certain fields.
    Currency stack field in 'Inventory and items' got expanded for more customizability of currencies.
    Infinite keys got expanded for an own sub group.
    Hideout section - a lot fields have been changed to be multipliers, `Remove Constructions requirements` got separated in 3 options for variety.

    Moved Post-Raid XP multipliers from Raids section to Player section - because it's more XP related than raid really.


    Ammo stacks backend were rewritten - it is more comprehensible and generally less junk, so if any Modder wants to include their ammo - I'll be happy to provide.


    Daily/Weekly/Scav Elimination quests now include more fields, that is separated by a range of levels, to accomodate with that - New fields with Minimum/Maximum required kill for each quest type.

    Refreshed and rewrote Event `All bosses in Customs` by user 'At0m1cDust', It will mostly follow `Bosses & Rogues Wander` spawn points.

  • SVM 1.8.3 THREAD

    REPLY UNDER THIS COMMENT FOR FEEDBACK/BUG REPORTS
    Now, onto main stuff happened: Google flagged my Greed.exe in Virus Total - the reason is unknown, I tried to contact them but no response as of now, except they switched instead of `This file contains a virus` to `This file violate ToS`.
    After I send them a feedback, they got a no-reply response that it is flagged with a `review request`, still waiting.
    On that note I tried to contact all the flaggers from Virus Total: Malwarebytes, Google (duh) and ClamAV.
    Google did remove the virus flag, but 1.8.2 is still blocked and inaccessible on GDrive.
    ClamAV did update their DB and my application doesn't flag anymore (Checked personally via ClamWin) although they did not respond either.
    Malwarebytes still did not respond to me and it still consider application as malware.

    Just for your(and a little bit of mine) sanity check, I did run ClamAV through my IDE, then through my memory and active apps.
    Clean. (except same error that my app has related to archived in tar.gz common extensions of VS2022, funny huh? Probably won't flag since new DB)
    Funny enough, even discord did flag my releases, with no ability to post them. I may assume it's in collab with someone related to corpos above.
    Just when I thought WinDefender and 7z being my main nemesis here.

    Now onto suggestions related:
    This project is closed source, always been and will be until I stop developing it.
    I could possibly send releases on Github, but not like my github can't be reported there by someone as potential malware and get blocked, if Google will block 1.8.3 I'll just switch to other filesharing service, maybe even github, depends.

    For final resort, I made a 7z with a password 'svm', just to see if that can counter such behavior of GDrive.

    Writing .exe is fun they said, be a software engineer they said
    REPORTED ISSUE: Scavs got broken - If you have SCAV pockets/health enabled - it will switch your survived scav after exfil, if you use scav - Comment/delete lines 322-335, that will return it to 1.8.2 state.
    Weird, i guess i haven't noticed that since was doing quick tests on death and instant exits.

    • I was able to download the .7z folder just now, so at least it hasn't been flagged by gdrive yet.

  • SVM 1.8.3 is in the works, a lot of issues turned out with new quests related features, I'm reworking them completely when I have the chance.
    Previous week I got blackouts that takes 2-8 hours per day that still happen.
    For people who got their profile borked - you've got to wait a little, refrain of using Repeatable quests section, my fault that I did not fully understood how controller worked.
    If anything, you can fix it by Ctrl-F your profiles and nullify your `repeatable quests`, so they would be empty like this: "RepeatableQuests": [],

    Anyway, without further a do, here's a list of upcoming changes, the release will depends whether 3.9.0 is coming soon or when I'll finish polishing stuff like this.

  • Just a minor issue, not sure if already reported but when you start with "load last loaded preset on launch", categories are highlighted like enabled but all the fields are dimmed/disabled until you click the "load preset" button"

    • Price range under the flea market tab, lower multipliers = lower prices


      Example: min 0.1, max 0.2 = very low flea prices

  • im having an issue with trying to launch greed and .net 6.0.0 is installed and all its doing is spinning the loading icon for 3 seconds and does nothing

  • Not really a bug, but user error, if you set "Quest Redeem Time" on the "Traders" tab to 0 (which doesn't make sense, but I probably understood it wrong) it gives a "CRITICAL ERROR: Unable to merge stacks as source item" when redeeming quests and you lose the items.

    To avoid someone being stupid like me (it took me 2 hours to debug by searching which option was the cause of the error), maybe 0 should not be allowed on that field.

  • Hi, I was beginner to modding stuff. If I want to make the insurance to be alway work and instance deliver by items I have to set mini time to 0 and max to 0 with chance to 100 right? I did those but my item doesn't seem to deliver.

  • Seems when you have the pockets setting set to allow things (such as wallet or keychain) anything not in the first slot is sometimes lost on dying, but the first slot is always safe. Anyone know anything about that or how to fix?

  • Notice a bug twice now when I die sometimes my wallet/WZwallet/GingyKeychainwill be lost.
    I have the setting turned on to allow those items to be place in the special slot. but it has only happened 2 twice out of a handful of times of dying.

  • quick question. i modify the .json for a preset because i cant get greed to work. then i tell the loader which file to pull but it doesnt change anything in game. any ideas?

  • Здраствуйте. У меня есть вопрос, не знаю от этого мода или нет, скачал заново клиент , скачал по новой AKI , установил моды, ваш новый интерфейс понравился, но в бою не пойму что случилось. Играя за дикого на выходе весь ЛУТ теряется и заместо того что набрал ничего этого нет, совсем другие вещи, без амуниции и оружия, хлам один. В чем может быть проблема подскажите пожалуйста.

  • Dunno if this has already been discussed please point me out if so - this thread is fricking huge by now

    (currently using SPT 3.8.0, SVM 1.8.1):

    Does unconfigured SVM alter anything compared to not having it installed at all?


    Installed SVM and played some raids without having configured anything via greed.exe.

    I notice some difference in spawn rates of items (common labs key cards seem to be super rare for example)

    and enemies (e.g. since installing SVM I've never come across any Bloodhounds anymore).

    If I'm correct and these differences are due to SVM - is there any kind of "default"config file that sets everything to "like SVM wasn't installed" to go off of and start configuring SVM from there?

    • Most of SVM's features doesn't have `lingering` effects, if you disabled something or removed SVM completely, everything will be like default SPT.
      The exceptions are red colored fields.
      when you restart Greed without enabled 'load last preset on launch' you can see default Greed settings, they try to be as close to SPT as possible, exceptions are certain AI spawns (rogues and raiders) and some typos (not intended one, skill gain in repair, will be fixed)
      You can create and select a new preset anytime.

      To be more precise, aside from the seemingly totally missing Bloodhounds (they are not listed in GREED so maybe that's the reason ;) but I can live with that) I'm struggling to find:

      - Bronze lion

      - Fabrics for Ragman quests

      - Gingy keychain (not found a single one - 1st SPT playthrough, Level 48 currently)


      - Glukhar

      - Reshala

      - Kaban

      - Killa (only encountered as Scav),.


      As for the bosses mentioned: Increasing their spawn rates in GREED does not seem to do anything, The Goons on the other hand are spawning every second raid or so, sometimes only one of them (using Dynamic Maps to find them).


      Do spawn rates in general change with your PMC's level? E.g. I remember finding quite some tank batteries on lower levels, but none later on.


      Does this even have to do with SPT / SPT mods or did BSG alter the base game? I have not played live EFT since the release of Unheard.

      Sorry to bother you more, but I'm confused...

    • Bloodhounds are in Events tab due to fact they were added as a part of the event.
      If you're using SWAG+Donuts, it will override any changes made by SVM due to fact it completely overrides vanilla wave system.

      SVM also does not affect loot pools in AI, location or containers, only a multiplier to a weight spawn system provided by SPT team.

      Your PMC level affects other PMC equipment but I do not think it affects the amount of PMC spawned, that's just a chance.

      Gingy should spawn in quite the quantities for sure in 3.8.3...update both SPT and SVM?

  • I must be doing something wrong because this doesn't seem to work at all.. I have opened greed, set the green on button for player scav and raid settings so that I can access lab without keycard, hit apply/save preset and then load the server and launcher (the greed.exe doesn't seem to think it exists even though it's literally in the same folder) and no changes to getting into labs, am I being dim and maybe not read something?

      Gratz, you did pinpoint your exact error.
      Greed should be in the mod folder(In the SVM folder), not anywhere else.

  • First of all, thank you so much for this mod. This is a 100% use mod even if I were to do a "vanilla" playthrough. Thanks for your hard work and sharing this gem with the community.


    I am going through and rebalancing Backpack sizes. I have it down thanks to your F.A.Q., however, I am unsure of how to edit slot sizes of Backpacks that have multiple pockets, such as the Mechanism. I remember seeing somewhere that explained how those are edited, and I actually found how to edit them directly in the SPT files, but I'd much prefer to have them saved and applied via a SVM Profile. Thanks!


    EDIT: I did some trial and error testing with the values I understood. Adding the following code into the Individual Item Changer DID result in what I was expecting, different slots changing in the size listed. The underlined portion is what I found to refer to the various windows of the backpacks. This edits the Mechanism backpack. It makes the first window 5x5, the next window 2x2, and the third window 3x1. The remaining windows remain intact as vanilla.

    However, I am now running into a larger issue, the cells of the useable slots is actually bigger than the background, resulting in strange looking overlap. I'm currently digging through the items.json of SPT, but I'm not finding where I can edit the size of these windows to move into SVM. Input on this would be welcome.


    With further testing, when the item is equipped, the background being smaller isn't an issue, however, I am running into different slots overlapping with other slots.

    in SVM for 3.7.x there was a toggle for softcore where when you KIA, you get to base with initial loadout before going into the raid. But in this (3.8.3) version i can't seem to find that toggle anymore.


    Also, tooltips/descriptions just for settings just appear for a moment and just disappear, they won't stay and it's impossible to read the description of settings this way

  • Stacking ammo feature is weird:


    For e.g, shotgun ammo stacking can not exceed 400. Why??? The same goes for rifle ammo and pistol ammo, the can't exceed 1500 (pistol) and 1400 (rifle) and for sniper ammo it's 1200. Just why???

    • Because weight limits, those changes are global, meaning they will affect amount AI takes as well, Ammo has weight, had cases were people made them in millions and then asked `why AI doesn't move?`
      You're free to edit your created preset manually, those are soft-cap limits for me to avoid people being way too greedy(tm) without breaking stuff.

    • I made ammo weightless, so i don't see a reason for it to be capped, but thx still
