This is a copy and paste of the original with only the below changes.

I'm not fixing any bugs that may occur with the original code base, I don't have the time, i'm just fixing bugs that prevent it from running. The code is open source, feel free to raise PR's or issues in github.

  • FOR THOSE WAITING FOR AN UPDATE FOR SPT 2.2.0

    It probably won't be happening anytime soon. I fixed the error that was occurring but the mods just freezes with no errors.


    I don't have time to figure out what's wrong as i'm busy.


    Will i have time in the future to fix this? Probably not. Source code is in my github, if anyone wants to try to fix it.

    It continues like this, do I need to install any other mod(s)?

  • Hey there, could it be that the "spawn of bosses regardless of location" is not working?

    I enabled it but never spawned any other boss.


    I check this with the botmon from astealz to see which bots are there so I'm pretty sure the spawn thing never worked (and yes, turned the enablement to true and restarted the server) :D

  • The new version doesnt have the option to ture off the fleamarket fix. Anything I can do?

  • Getting a error after scav runs, pmc runs are fine. It was running fine but after one scav run it completely broke scav runs for me where I can't finish them. Works fine without the mod installed but once I reinstall it stops working again. Any kind of help would definitely be great as this is driving me nuts. Once I finish a scav run it hangs on the loading screen after swapping loot or if I die in a raid. Eventually getting a time out error and having to force close the game.

    • Nevermind, installing one version, then installing a different after each run fixed it? I'm not even sure what I did but it works now.

    • TBH, i think this is an issue with Butter itself. I think these warnings are safe to ignore as i played with the errors fine. Looking into why it's appearing, but the time i have dedicated to this mod is limited.

    An open question to everyone:


    What features of Bread and Butter do you actually use/like?


    The reason why i ask is because in my opinion Bread and Butter does too much and would be better off stripped down as to not get in the way of other mods. Other mods actually do a better job than what Bread and Butter provides., eg Finn's AI tweaks for better bots, RandomLootGen for better loot, FleaMarketPriceUPdater for the flee market.

    • The only one thing that i stick to b&b is because of best PMC loadout and there gear progress by player level.

    • Some of the features I use and like are:


      Increased loot - other mods seem to not work in the same way


      FIR items Sell to fence at ragfair value


      Ai behaviour - Sometimes the PMC ai within this mod acts and moves dynamically. Something i haven't seen or been able to replicate in FinsAI


      QoL - there are many small fixes bundled in which make this mod great, like weather fixes annoying quest cheats that are hard to complete with ai pmcs

    • i also mainly like it for the gear progress by level.

      the ai also seems better to me than FinsAi, but that could be i am not getting the settings right for me. FinsAI seems way harder though, seems all scavs and pmc are a laser to the head.

  • I noticed that now same-team PMCs shoot you on sight - probably intended, but I always have been turning the spawn rate for USEC way down so I might see one once in a while, and they'd be friendly. Obviously not game breaking, but I couldn't find a setting in the configs or where it's getting set to make them hostile in the actual code, anybody have any clue?


    I also noticed the PMC AI is pretty bad, even when turning off support_easy_mode.

  • On factory pmc bots never spawn until tagilla is killed. only after tagilla dies will they spawn. i waited tried this waiting out 2 raids and they never spawned while he was alive. though scavs spawned throughout the raid

    • Found a solution to the problem. it was just necessary to set some value in the "AI quantity" selection. Don't know how it works, but PMCs don't spawn up due to "As online" value

  • My pmc bots are too easy even on impossible, scav AIs are harder than them. Is it a bug or do I need to download someone else's config?

    • having the same problem. all the pmc bots in my raids are getting clapped by scavs

  • Tagilla sure is spawning on factory, but for some reason no PMCs are. Logs suggest the spawns are working, and only errors are from trying to add armbands where there are already armbands, so I'm lost.


    Edit: Nevermind, first raid I kill Tagilla instead of being killed by him and suddenly the PMC swarm arrives, must have just been unlucky

    • That makes sense because Tagilla spawns immediately on map load, and the other bots take a while to load in.

    • Don't PMCs spawn using the boss logic? At least with "as_boss": true,
