Installation:
Put the "ACOG4life - Optic Rework" mod folder into user/mods as usual.
Changelog:
- changed database entries for all red dot sights (added 25m zeroing as a majority of these lack such setting, thus making them unusable for VSS, VAL and many other),
- changed database entries for sniper scopes – as zoom values are altered everywhere it was needed to change these entries to show changed values, f.e. March Tactical 3-24x scope where the 8x value was chosen, whereas in-game it shows 10x (which really was like 32x) + added more zeroing options for sniper scopes up to 650m,
- changed database entries for VSS and VAL ironsights – they are usable right now,
- changed database entries for allowing the use of red dots on top of Elcan Specters,
- altered versions of some receivers - tweaked mod_scope positions on AR-15 rifle family receivers and MCX Gen 1 receiver - in 12.11 BSG did something wrong there and had to rework it as well;
- altered versions of all of the scope bundles -----> NOTE: alternative versions of some reticles coming in V1.1!

Belomo PK-06 reflex sight – retained pre 12.11 reticles, added tint and red specular to glass as IRL – it is now intentionally bad in a way that it has a strong tint as IRL but reticles are the same as pre 12.11;
Burris FastFire 3 Reflex Sight – changed red dot mark to be less blurry but retained its bigger MOA for diversity;
Leupold DeltaPoint Reflex Sight – ADDED 2 versions – first with a standard triangle reticle but reworked it so that hits are landing at the top of triangle, not in the middle, second with a small dot mark, added tint and yellow specular to glass;
Sig Sauer Romeo 4 reflex sight – changed tube interior to be non glossy and totally dark, changed reticle to an alternative one that IRL Romeo 4 has to add diversity;
Trijicon RMR – added slight tint and orange specular to glass, added 12.11 dot mark but decreased its size;

Aimpoint COMP M4 reflex sight – added 12.11 red dot mark, altered its size and brightness; changed the tube interior to be dark and non-glossy, added slight tint and specular to glass;

I think there may be a bug with this mod, im using 3.5.8. For some reason about 30 - 40 mins into a raid the Render Texture in the ELCAN scope sometimes goes black when you aim through it. If you aim again it will simply close the game and will result in no errors in the error logs.
I encountered this issue last night after a sick raid on the shoreline map... I noticed my scope went black so I swapped out to my secondary. I thought I would try and remove the scope from my gun so I could still use it. Then I would just extract it as I had done a few quests and was on my way out anyways.
I'm not sure if it affects any other scopes but it is pretty annoying. I have had several raids ruined because of this. I tried to do the thirst quest five times and had to redo it because of it.

I did have this activated, i have actually realised my SSD had no page file set on it. so i set all my ssd's to have 32 gb of page file and i have not had a single crash yet.

and replace them.
By replacing bundles you replace important FOV values in bundles (the core part of the mod).
Script part of this mod just adjusts Zeroing and references GameObjects inside the bundles.
TLDR Bundles change actual visuals, Script part adds QoL Zeroing. So if you replace just bundle files you will get the desired effect of this mod.

Just tested & my Vudu at 1x no longer looks like somebody turned all the lights off then smeared vaseline into my eyes when set to high FOV & DLSS enabled. Haven't tested every scope, but works great so far!

At some point, this stopped working with 3.3.0. I had it working on this version before despite being outdated, but after having to reinstall everything, version 1.2.2 now reports a fatal server error.

Not quite sure how to fix it, and I'd rather stay on 3.3.0 for the time being instead of updating to 3.4.0, so any advice to fix things instead of upgrading to AKI 3.4 when this mod gets updated would be much appreciated (since I'm fairly certain any updates will skip right over 3.3.0 and work on 3.4.0 compatibility).
Also, I'm not quite sure where it originally came from, but when I went to reinstall mods, I saw that I have a newer version of ACOG4Life-OpticRework than the latest listed here, saved in a .7z with the version number 1.2.7. It seems to be missing the src and types folders as well as the tsconfig, however, so AKI reports that it fails to load, so that's a dead end regardless.

Update; removed all mods again and adding a fresh 1.2.2 install removed the error. I progressively re-added my other mods to see if there was a conflict, and now the fatal error is completely gone. Modding hurts my head sometimes.
Love this mod though, glad I got it working again and I look forward to future versions when I fully update. It really makes some sights just so much more bearable.
