    • It's actually mostly for practical reasons. -Sometimes you want to mount, say, the Colt rearsight in addition to an optic (Like, say, the Monstrum 2x scope), but a single riser won't lift the optic high enough. This can do memes, yes, but it also lets you stack one or two extra on as-needed in certain situations.
