SAG AK-545 5.45x39 carbine 1.0.0

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X

Port of the SAG AK-545 from the new Tarkov wipe.

A big shoutout to SamSWAT; this mod is based on the framework for his other weapon-adding mods. And thank you to the SPT devs, who have done pretty much all of the heavy lifting in generating the json entries for everything. <3


**NOTE**: This weapon is already in the base game if you are running a version of SPT after 3.0.0! No need to use this mod if so.


Installation:


Download the .zip file, extract all, and add the folder MC-AK545 to your user/mods/ folder in SPT. Make sure it is just the folder with all of the contents, not a folder with another MC-AK545 folder inside of it.


You can find the regular and short standard presets at Skier levels 2 and 3.




Look out for mod conflicts. There is probably not going to be much I can do about those, sadly. I'm also somewhat sending it on this one so let me know if there are any serious issues with the mod and I'll rework it and send it back.

  • If you want to make both guns full auto, go the file database/templates/items and replace the "weapFireType" with this method.

    • I was going to, but I don't think it will be possible since it has a new firetype that isn't in SPT yet. So don't expect it, unfortunately.

  • Could you port more items ( for example armors from new bosses ) from new wipe? That would be pretty cool!
