In a game with other players?

Hi, just tried SPT for the first time. I used the auto installer and downloaded it to its own file on the C drive. I ran the server, then the launcher. Everything works, and my Name was SPTarkov, and I modified the profile to be level 32. I loaded into a raid at customs, and could hear gunshots. As I went to extract, there was a dead PMC complete with dog tags. I am absolutely certain server and launcher were what were used to launch the game. Did I do something wrong on setup?
