SPT installer just opens and closes with no window shown

When i try to run the installer, it just opens and closes with no window popping up. I see a empty icon image show up on taskbar, but then just closes. The installer does leave a log though:

I have full access to the drive i'm trying to install on and have enough space for the installer to do it's work. I've tried finding a thread with the issue, but can't find anything so i figured i would post it.

edit: i was able to get a window outline to pop up by setting the compatibility mode to windows 7 just to see something.

Try installing this .net 6 desktop version:

Thank you, I gave that a try but unfortunately still getting the same results. Log is the same as the previous one.

It could just be that you have to run the installer as an administrator, as I had basically the same problem where the installer would open, run for around 5-10 seconds before quitting by itself. running the installer as an administrator fixed my problem. hope this helps!

Gave it a try and unfortunately that doesn't seem to do the trick either. I have manually installed it and that works, but it's just weird that the installer doesn't seem to have an error message for whatever this specific weird thing is.
