[MODDED] f12 isn't working

I am unable to pull up the configuration menu in-game by pressing f12. I've tried full reinstalling and trying again without mods and it still doesn't work. Not sure what the issue is. Any help is appreciated thank you.

Check a file called `ConfigurationManager.dll` exists in `spt\BepInEx\plugins\spt\`

If not, download SPT from https://dev.sp-tarkov.com/SPT-AKI/Stable-releases/releases and copy the file into the path i mentioned above

Checked it and the "ConfigurationManager.dll" file was in there.

A question just because no one has answered you since yesterday and to give you some input.... Is f12 mapped to any keys in game? Are you sure you press f12 and you don't have to press fn + f12 to activate the f12 key? In some laptops it happens that f* keys are locked behind pressing another key

My keyboard is a full so I have an actual f12 key so that wasn't the issue. I thought maybe it was because that key also increases my desktop volume but I don't think that matters since it's not an in-game key.

If you click f12 on chrome does the developer toolbox open to the right? If it does not open it but only increases the desktop volume, that is the problem, Windows does not receive the F12 command, but VOLUME UP

Do you by chance know how to switch the key to actually do the function of an f12 key instead of being volume?
