Are you installing AKI onto the same drive as live? Putting it on a different drive can cause this issue.

I've ran into the same problem at a friends system. It's a while back, but I believe I used revo uninstaller to delete everything related to battlestate games and EFT. And check if it also deletes the battlestate games folder in your documents directory.
Reinstall everything after that and you should be good to go.
Sadly didn't work, wiped eft compleatly off my machine and installed everything again and still get the same response
I wanted to check back into SPT after about a year and so I Installed EFT, launched it, played a raid, finished it and then manual installed SPT because the installer just says, EFT not installed
After going through the whole process again I started the SPT launcher, created a profile and wanted to start
I got greeted with a message saying, that EFT is not installed and I should buy a real copy
I've read a few tickets here but none of them made me any wiser
And yes EFT is on the same drive,
