just to make sure you are doing it right:
1. make sure live is up-to-date.2. copy live to a new folder.
3. extract the patcher into the new folder (this is where SPT will be installed)(away from live)
4. make sure it says patch is complete.
5. extract aki 2.1.2 into your new folder for SPT.
6. run server.
7. run launcher.
8. run game.

yes, a patcher is needed at any point SPT-AKI isnt upto date with the EFT version:
AKI Patcher
FROM THE FAQ:How to use the downgrader in steps:
Follow these steps once you have the downgrader downloaded as well as the current latest files of SPT of this time.
0.) Run an integrity check on your Live EFT game. Some files, such as level177, may be missing in the Live game and they would not affect your live gameplay. This is NOT the case for downgrading your client. Missing such files could potentially prevent a successful downgrade.
1.) Have the contents from Live EFT Folder copied and pasted into a new folder (where you are going to keep SP EFT).
2.) Extract the downgrader's files (with 7zip, winRAR would cause unnecessary complications) into the folder (where you are going to have SP EFT) and run downgrader.exe.
2.5.) Make sure downgrader.exe keeps running until it is complete. It should let you know.
3.) Once that process is complete, extract all of SPT files that had been downloaded into the folder (where SP EFT is located).
4.) Run Server.exe and Launcher.exe. Enjoy.

Make sure to verify that the clients you own is compatible first
Requirement: Windows .NET 5.0 (please download and install on your own)

i doubt its causing the CTD but sure, closing thread

does look like that might be the place now, its showing all my live settings in there
-
hmm, if live tarkov is crashing too then something is wrong, how much Ram do you have? i would have expected a log of some kind
-
https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/files/download/1820/ updated launcher should fix the issue with the output file.
will close thread now
-
I wish it had worked for me.. I am getting stuck on another file now
EscapeFromTarkov_Data\StreamingAssets\Windows\assets\content\audio\voice\missing.bundle
Did anyone else get this problem too?
this would be a case of the original files was missing this to start, try integrity checking your live game from the launcher and try again, if that fails redo the whole download from BSG,
i have just tested the patcher myself and can confirm it works with removing that file under normal conditions
-
yeah, just spoke to the dev that makes the patches, he will be making a new one soon to remove the need for that file.
he's been trying new ways to reduce the size of the patch and this one was using the new system.
for now you can do this:
I apologize to all involved in this thread after all the lengthy messages and whatnot. The fix to this problem is simply deleting
Aki_Patches\EscapeFromTarkov_Data\Output_log.txt.delta
a new patch will be added soon.
i'll leave this up till a new patch is up for visibility and close the thread
-
hmm that isnt normal, mine does what i expected, you can see if there is anything in the temp files, other than that im unsure

So you are saying if you open SPT and change reload to “p” as an example, the shared.ini doesn’t change?
-
It should be the shared.ini you referenced, can you do me a favour and set your settings in SPT and go to live and check your keybinds, I’m thinking because on SPT currently you don’t have a VOIP keybind etc that 12.12 brought in, so game goes wtf and redoes them
-
All good have fun, I’ll close the thread
-
yep, wait for a patcher to be released for the right game version. until then, nothing can be done.

so your profile stores information on sales on the flea etc,
somehow its now "null"
what you will need to do to save the profile is go into it with vs code or vs codium, makes it easier to read imo,
ctrl-F and find "ragfair" you should be able to see something under that called "salesSum" with "null" in it, then make it 1 or something, save and open the game.
should resolve the issue. let me know
-
usually with a CTD on launch is down to a .net issue, in the logs folder are there any logs at all?
you can try uninstalling the .nets and reinstalling them:
Download .NET Framework 4.7.2, .NET Framework 3.5 and .NET 5.0.10. Order does not matter.
-
no, you'd have to add a comment on the author's thread.
ill close this one

Marked as resolved, closing thread
