M16A4-Remake

This mod adds M16A4 and its related parts to the game. Less than it was in the latest original version, but hopefully better looking.

This mod is a remake of my old mod that I made back during Aki beta days and that was maintained up until Aki 2.0.0. I was always bothered by how some parts looked in game, but didn't have time to focus on them. So, I present to you, the remade M16A4.

True to its real life counterpart, M16A4 is a 3-round burst assault rifle that can accept any part that is available to the M4A1. Since it is not particularly competitive in a world of fully automatic weapons, base M16A4 is available from account lvl 1 through Peacekeeper LL1 for cash rather than barter items.

Features

• M16A4 lower receiver with updated custom textures by yours truly. Using it increases your mastery with other M4-type weapons as well.
• 2 handguard options most closely associated with real life M16A4: A2 "round" handguard and KAC M5 RAS.
• 1 stock that is very clearly missing from the base game: an M16A2 fixed stock that is mounted on the underused A2 buffer tube.
• 2 barrel options that can be used only with this mod's handguards: 18 inch and 20 inch.
• 3 pre-built presets:
  • Default - fitted with a round handguard, it serves as a counterpart to base M4A1 build. Available from Peacekeeper LL1 for $525.
  • MWS - fitted with KAC M5 RAS and some accessories. Available from Peacekeeper LL2 for $1,034.
  • SAM-R - fitted with suppressor and a sniper scope, it was designed to fit right in with Mechanic's overcomplicated tacticool roughly-based-on-real-life-builds shit. Available from Mechanic LL3 for 1 bitcoin.

A kinda self-insert character that I came up with in order to not spam other traders' inventories with these builds. They are mostly inspired by the builds from Contract Wars (some of them were salvaged from that one GP coin event, some of them directly copy Mechanic's builds, like RPKT or P90 DEVGRU, and some were made up by me based on the respective weapons), however, there are a couple of them I built based on Tarkov's own splash art. All these presets can be purchased for GP coins.

Available items

Since barter trades don't seem to count towards the total amount of money you spent, I decided to not bother with Loyalty Level requirements and tried to balance her the following way. Her inventory is available from the start, you can even purchase some GP coins directly from her should you really be that desperate, but because she sells magazines that fit her custom builds, they can be expensive af (since most of them unlock on other traders' later loyalty levels, so she sells them at higher price) and the ammo she sells is not great. She purchases weapons and their parts, medicine, valuable items and food.

As of now, all the items in her inventory are entirely vanilla, but there could possibly be custom items in the future.

I had plans for a simple questline, but, tbh, that lore bit in the begininng was the best I could come up with, so for now this idea is scrapped.

Builds were inspired by Contract Wars (AbsolutSoft) in-game and Escape From Tarkov (Battlestate Games) splash art weapons.

All this mod really adds is a rail mount that can be mounted on the AKS-74U and AKS-74UB dust cover that I really wanted to add because of the AKSU from Contract Wars/Hired Ops and a AK-74M handguard cut down to fit the AKS-74U dimensions that I added simply because of this pic. Really recommend you to get the Makes Sense mod along with this, full black AKSU with a AK-74M stock is looking surprisingly beautiful. Also changes AKS-74U(B) dust cover bundles in order to make the installation of the scope mount possible.

Both attachments are available at Skier.

All models are modified Escape from Tarkov models.

  • Had to disable the part that was automatically adding parts to correct sections of categories because it was doing it incorrectly and all of my weapon ended up in the DMR category on my end, probably in some other categories on others. It will break the older versions of my mods that relied on the old version of the core mod so PLEASE UPDATE ALL OF MY MODS THAT REQUIRE IT (sorry about this).

UMP default barrel tweak

Adds muzzle slot to default UMP barrel. That's about it.

It was a half-serious project that shouldn't have gone that far. I wanted to get these rifles added to Reshala, raiders and maybe Killa, but I am honestly too tired to care. Because of the aforementioned, I didn't plan to add them to traders and now I really don't want to do anything with this mod anymore. Got them to spawn on Reshala, theoretically they should spawn on everyone I've mentioned below.

REQUIRES MY COREMOD

So, this mod features:

• All 4 gold-plated full-auto AKM variants
• Gold-plated gas-block, magazine, muzzle brake-compensator, dust cover, rear sight and AKMSN stock.
• Dark wood handguard, pistol grip and stock (with golden inserts).
• Optional inclusion of the rifles into list of allowed weapons for The Punisher - Part 1 quest.
• Optionally, you can enable the bot loadout changes in order to find them on the following bots:
  • Reshala - all 4 variants
  • Killa - only AKMS variants
  • Raiders - only AKMS, but can have a different handguard.

All parts are also available at flea market.

This mod adds a fixed stock SVD, along with a couple of attachments. Stock attachments are exclusive to this SVD, while everything else is interchangeable between this rifle and its folding stock variant.
