QuoteEasy Ammo Names
is a simple quality of life mod that makes ammunition easier to identify in your inventory and as loose loot on the ground.
(see the tabs above for more info)
Don't like the new names for 5.56? Don't like the easter eggs for canned beef and energy drinks?
You can change the names to whatever you like or even rename MORE items in SPT.
The config file is located in user\mods\EasyAmmoNames\config
To add even more custom-named items, just retrieve the item ID number from the online Item Finder and create new entries beneath the ones already present within the config file.
None that I'm aware of at this time. But if you see anything that stands out to you, please let me know in the comments and I'll work on it as soon as I can!
Thank you MattDokn for creating the core of this mod for me to use and thank you DirtBikerCJ for the tip about locales editing

QuoteOriginally made this preset for myself but decided to share with the community. Installation is pretty straight forward though I should warn you this mod is recommended for advanced users as some knowledge of other mods is required to get the most out of this project.
Thank you k4rate for sending me down this rabbit hole of ReShade tuning
Dependendencies:Recommended but not required:
ReShade is 100% required for this mod to function. The other mods are recommended for aesthetic and quality of life reasons.
I insist you get Amand's graphics as this filter was tuned with Amand's Graphics as a baseline. SamSwat's Increased FOV mod is required for the 120° fisheye effect common in body cameras. And Fontaine's FOV Fix is recommended so that you can still "zoom in" to shoot distant targets while using such a wide FOV.
How to install:
- Install the prerequisite mods listed above
- Install Reshade 5.9.2 from their website.
- Point ReShade at the "EscapeFromTarkov.exe" in your SPT folder
- Select Direct X 10/11/12 and install
- Drag and drop the contents of the zip file into your root SPT folder
- Using SamSwat's Increased FOV mod, set your FOV to 120°
- Press HOME (default) to open the ReShade config menu. This conflicts with BepInEx.
- Under the "Home" tab make sure to select the BodyCam.ini preset to load the preset settings.
- Under the "Settings" tab in ReShade change the hotkeys for "Overlay" and "Effect Toggle" to whatever you prefer.
This last step is important as you will need to shut off the filter whenever you are in your menus unless you want to hurt your eyes. Hopefully someday someone smart (not me) may create a mod that automatically toggles ReShade off whenever you open a menu but until then you'll just have to do it manually with a hotkey.
UI MASK
Also included in the files is a UI Mask to exclude certain hud elements from the ReShade filters. By default I made room for your hotbar, health, stamina and Game Panel Hud but feel free to modify the mask as you please. Anything "white" is excluded from the ReShade filter."I don't like the bodycam stuff"
If you really like my reshade preset but just aren't vibing with the fisheye bodycam look, then lower your FOV from 120 to whatever's comfy and disable the following filters in your ReShade menu and you should be all set.

For whatever reason, it is impossible to load Lighthouse while using ReShade. So if you need to visit Lighthouse for whatever reason you will have to uninstall ReShade in order to do so. Just remember to make a backup of your ReShade preset in case you wish to use it again.
