Tried all of that. I'll clarify that I don't even get an error message, not in the console, not in the launcher, when I click the 'Start Game' button in the launcher, absolutely nothing happens, it just flashes "Patching" on the screen for a couple seconds and then nothing.

I installed everything exactly as I was guided, I've tried launching the game twice now and all that happens is the launcher will show "Patching" for a few seconds then disappear, and nothing else will happen, the server log doesnt show anything, no window opens, nothing happens.
