Display More# UnityPlayer.dll Crashes
### To check if your game crashed due to a hardware fault:
1. Press `Win + X`
2. In the menu, open `Event Viewer`
3. Inside `Windows Logs > Application` look for an `Error` event for `EscapeFromTarkov.exe`If the crash was due to `UnityPlayer.dll`, there is an issue with your PC's hardware. It's most common in 13th and 14th gen Intel and 7950X/9950X AMD CPUs.
You can try the following in order to alleviate it:
1. Update your motherboard's BIOS.
2. If there's no update, or you're already on the newest BIOS version, try disabling your RAM's XMP/EXPO inside your BIOS.
3. If disabling XMP/EXPO didn't help, try disabling your CPU's boosting inside your BIOS.
If the above steps didn't help, then you still have an underlying hardware issue. However, this means it's not a SPT issue. You will need to troubleshoot this issue further yourself.
Can I buy you a drink or something? You have no idea how much you helped me.
Ive spent a week and over $400 replacing parts. I even replaced the motherboard trying to figure this out and it was the CPU boost. I could not find this answer anywhere. Never thought I would be saved by the BlackDeath.
