Display MoreHello, I actually made an account just to post on here.
I am searching for a workaround on this memory leak. I actually never had an issue before. I had like 8 or so mods and no issues.
I uninstalled and reinstalled (updated) everything so I could play streets and start a new profile. Made triple sure I did it correctly and now I am having this leak issue. If I play vanilla it's not a problem. However even with only POOP installed it is crashing on me randomly. Is it possible I had the memory clean up thing selected before and after reinstall now it's unchecked? When I get home tonight I will try it out.
Guy above me also mentioned 3rd party tools. If that is a thing if someone could kindly point me in the correct direction I would greatly appreciate it.
I have also been doing alot of testing the last few days before I knew it was a memory leak. Consists of me going in raids and AFKing in a corner to see if I eventually crash. Is there a better way to test the memory leak without spending 40+ minutes at a time? Ty for any advice you guys can give.
hellsgate9999 , download and install Process Lasso from https://bitsum.com/ and enable "SmartTrim" under "Main". Here's my settings for Smart Trim under "Options" > "Memory":
Check your RAM usage during a raid. I'm having the same problem, with 32GB of RAM, my game CTDs after 1.5 hours (I have immersive raids mod).
This is an EFT issue, not SPT
Good enough, I'll just play with Process Lasso and Trim Memory when it starts getting too high. Thanks.
I noticed that the EFT.exe leaks memory at around 2 MB/s. See video below and notice the build up of RAM on the EscapeFromTarkov.exe.
While this seems like a minor leak, when I play using mods such as "Immersive Raids", which can last for about 1.5 hours, the memory leak will eventually build up and exceed my available RAM, resulting in a CTD. The recording below is sped up, but shows 5 minutes of footage, where the RAM has built up about 800 MB. Notice how sharply the RAM drops at the end of the raid. That's for an only 10-minute raid.
Please advise.
Haven't tried other maps.
If memory serves, the allegiance doesn't matter. All PMCs ignore player Scav.
PMC bots ignore me when I play as Scav...
