    I think I've found the reason. I had "gear blocks healing" disabled in the menu as I found it too immersive for me lmao. But once I enabled it back on, painkillers started working normally again. Able to use keyboard shortcuts etc. Pretty weird.


    Also on another note, bots see me and beam in the face through the fences around cottages in shoreline. I'm not sure if this could be related to Realism or maybe SAIN's vision? But it wasn't happening before I updated from realism 7.10. Also I realized I haven't cleared my mod cache for a while so I did now, and instantly I noticed some things changed. I'm sure these 2 changes: Improved stance to sprint animation transition and Small tweaks to stance speed and positions only started working after clearing the cache. I used the same weapon I did before clearing cache, and noticed that when adsing from low ready now made the buttstock clip into my face for a split second.

    Sounds like your install is messed up/wrong SPT version/conflicting mods or you're having trouble configuring the mod, nothing I can do on my end unfortunately.

    right now my biggest issue is just that the only way to use analgin is to drag it onto a blacked out limb.. shortcuts ir right click wont work. Anyone else experiencing this?

    You have a conflicting mod or have the mod configured wrong. Make sure the med changes are enabled in the config app.

    On the second point, I found out that this happened as a result of my manual overwriting of the profile saved with other mod settings or even from version 7.10.


    And according to the first point, everything described above with severe bleeding occurs when the "Enable Medical Overhaul" option is DISABLED, with the option on, everything works.

    If you disable "Enable Medical Overhaul" nothing to do with blocking healing will be enabled, nothing can stop you from healing. Have you been restarting the game after enabling/disabling this option. I can't reproduce any of the issues you described so it's likely on your end.

    Hey is there anyway to turn off that i cannot see armour lvl i would like to see what armour is what lvl instead of having to look it up, or when i add new armour mods i need to go into there files to figure out what lvl they are.


    It's in the config options.


    How would I go about stopping the new enemy generation after about 30 minutes into the raid?

    Find a spawn mod that does that.

    really liking all the recent changed, but im a bit weirded out by how fast the player is now. I really liked the pacing in 0.7.10

    The speed difference is probably less than 15%, and you get slowed down significantly from injuries and perhaps more in the future.

    I'm trying out the new med system, I just had some problems 2 raids in a row. One raid I got a light bleed on my stomach, I dropped my armored rig and backpack, but wasn't able to use army bandages or a medkit, but an esmarch worked which is weird cuz you said we wont be able to use tourniqets on stomach/chest. Next raid I got a heavy bleed on chest, dropped armor/backpack but wasnt able to use any meds at all including calok. Idk if im just missing something or if its a bit buggy.

    I can't reproduce this bug, I can heal light bleeds on stomach just fine. Being able to use tourniquets that way will be fixed thanks.

    The issue is on your end, I don't know of any countries where Dropbox is blocked.

    Figured it out, weirdly it was from an excessively high ergo multiplier in the config. Accidently had a 1.8 ergo multiplier not 0.8 and it borked reloading completely lol


    Anyways great mod.




    Please check previous post. The bug is from using the ergo multiplier where weapon ergo gets higher than base ergo. Solution is to either wait for fix, disable reload speed mechanic or leave the ergo multi at 1. Will release a fix soonTM.

    Fontaine, my mosin nagant rifle jamming too often(92 durability) for such a simple weapon.
    Can you tell how total malfunction calculated cause I can't understand that through code?
    I saw baseMalfunctionChance in weaponTemplates, but I don't know if it used at all and why .336 AK has less base chance than mosin and why shorter mosin has more chance than longer.


    In my opinion, bolt action rifles has to be one of most reliable guns in game which is currently not...

    P.S. Already tuned thresholdMalfunction option to be 80%, but it only halved malfunction chance, which is still a lot.

    Because mosin is often big doodoo and makes sense from gameplay perspective to make the cheapest bolt action shitty so that other bolt actions have a purpose. At least in western countries, surplus mosins range from pristine, smooth and reliable to dogshit. These are surplus mosins that have been shot to shit by drunken scavs.


    There is no short vs. long Mosin, it's sniper vs. infantry variant. I don't understand the comparison to the .366 AK as they have nothing to do with each other. Bolt actions are very reliable in Realism, except the Mosin.

    Think it might be conflicting with the multicam retextures, makes sense I suppose

    Anyone else having issues reloading? as soon as I try to reload anything its just borked, cant interact with anything anymore. Just started with the latest version.

    Figured it out some issue with "Enable Reload and Chamber Speed Changes" in the f12 menu. Works fine with it disabled not sure if its just a conflict with another mod but I have nothing else touching reloads so idk.

    Either conflicting mod or specific combination of config options are causing the issue, like disabling "Recoil and Attachment Overhaul"

    Currently in raid. IFAK worked on my wound, but I can't use Ibuprofen.



    Don't know what to tell you, I tried it with the exact same health options and gear you have and it works for me. Last thing to do is to fully uninstall realism and reinstall. That means deleting the .dll in the plugins folder, and the config in Bepinex/configs too.


    Or maybe it's one of the other mods conflicting, first thing to do when having issues is to remove other mods to see if there's an issue there.

    Could you send me a pic of the gear you were wearing? I can't see why the meds wouldn't work, I tried the same config options and it works for me

    The mechanics which block use of meds based on gear is disabled by default, make sure it's disabled in the in-game config (F12). What painkiller specifically is it? Do you have other mods installed?

    Hey there,

    I love this mod, but I don't want to use the armor and ballistics overhaul. I was able to disable the new Ballistics via the Config, but the option "Old Ballistics" did nothing for me (I deleted REALISMMOD.dll). Checking no box also does not work.

    The reason I say that is the "armor level" display in my inventory, which is like way too high for many standard armor peaces.

    The console in game (F12) has no real options, I would understand (screenshot). What am I doing wrong?

    Please check previous comments and support thread posts, this has been answered before. Uncheck "Old Ballisics", as that enables the old ballistic changes of Realism mod and not SPT/EFT

    I've been having a really hard time with this. What's the point in wearing a rifle rated body armor like the CQC Osprey MK4A when a 9x18 SMG kills me in one burst to the torso anyway? Is something bugged? When I do survive, my torso is practically caved in from blunt damage and I may also need to apply two tourniquets to the same arm. I do appreciate the work you've put into this, but I'm not sure if this is right. The only two mods I have are this and Solarint's SAIN.



    Please look at the features of this mod. There's a massive overhaul to ballistics. There are armor zones, the size of armor plates. There are many gaps in armor, just like real life. This includes under the arms, the sides (if the armor has side plates, it doesn't protect the entire sides), below the plate, above the plate, shoulders. Neck hits in unmodded EFT count as chest shots, so armor would protect it. Now neck counts as an instant kill, unless the armor has neck protection.


    Blunt damage is very, very low in Realism right now. All that damage is from rounds bypassing your armor. What's the point of wearing armor? For all the times it saves you.


    There's a giant config that lets you disable whatever you want including this feature. Please actually take the time to read the features of mods before using them.

    You'll barely feel a 9mm if you're wearing something like ceramic or combined ceramic + UHWPE. His issue isn't to do with blunt damage, which is really low in realism (probably too low ATM).

    1. it seems BSG decided to explicitly list weapons for quest objectives like you said, I'll try getting to fixing that for the next or next next version.

    2. As the tooltip says it only affects bosses that I have altered the loadouts of, maybe the wording could be less vague. When I get around to modifying Reshalla he'll have his TT ~90% of the time and the option will make it 100% of the time.
