Okay, i figured out what was wrong. It's McAffee antivirus, wich i thougt i deleted long ago. Everything works normal now, except low-res graphics every damn raid for some reason. But this is another story. I regret that im not hanged McAffee myself.

Try `Aki.Server.exe`
So BASICALLY i getting this error less frequentely now... But it still persist in general.
-
It could be a firewall issue, its like something is intercepting all incoming/outgoing server data
So basically wich executable files should i add into firewall exceptions (besides server and launcher ofc)?
Or it'll be better to turn it off completely? -
This could be related to your multi-second second response issue, the server isn't responding fast enough for the client, causing it to error.
Could it be a sertificate or firewall related? I just don't understand why is it happening. It's started one day back in 3.7.1 after Windows update and keeps haunting me. THE only thing i did with SPT AKI was stop playing it for a few days, and then - boom - SPT AKI just said "F you".
...Or it's just Nikita tries to piss me off? -
Henlo again!
My "Critical error: request timeout" error is still there.. It happens when i dig through my stash or switch betwen traders/try to move items to "sell" window. When it happens - item, that i moving starts to slowly blink, and after some time "Critical error: request timeout" pops up and my game hangs at starting menu (only with background image visible). It also happens right after raid. Idkw it keep happening, i have tried literally everything - from reinstalling my SPT and EFT to changing my DNS server - no use. I have some mods installed, and despite some of them was detected by server console as "outdated' - they work just fine. The frequency with wich the error appears remains the same.
But today (and yesterday) i've found something interessing in the in-game console. I hope it'll help: -
I've find something...

Sadly my Windows locale is in Russian, so it would be hard to explain myself, so I'll refer to external websites for that
That's how to set a DNS:
https://www.tomshardware.com/h…change-dns-server-windows
How to disable proxy:
https://answers.microsoft.com/…5c-4ac9-aa25-4a61f26375e9
And VPN - just do not use external ones while you play SPT, might require to disable some adapters they are adding, but I don't think it would be necessary.
gl hf I may say>Sadly my Windows locale is in Russian

its not letting me upload the .json file.
is there a different way to upload my profile?
Just compress it via 7z

This error is back today, wtf
All my profiles got this sh** now. I also tried play with mods - still no use. Mods working just fine, but this error keeps poping up. One profile give me this error while i digging through my stash, and other profile give me THIS after raid: "Critical error receiving profile data. Close the game and contact us at forum. Citical error: request timeout"I've seen that happening due to weird settings within your localhost
Be sure you're not using windows proxy server service
Be sure you have (Mostly for everyone) Default 8.8.8.8 DNS IP
And yeah, do not use VPN.How can i do this btw? I just remembered another thing: before it all started - i've changing my internet connection to phone and backwards...
-
I loaded your profile on my machine and am able to purchase items from traders without a delay.
I can see in your logs you're buying an item and then a full 5+ seconds later the server completes the action. I've never seen this before.
Does the same problem occur if you make a second profile?
Does it occur if you buy items from the flea market?
Does a file integrity check from your BSG launcher find any problems?
Hmm.. I created two new profiles with different names (and different from problematic one) and play a couple of raids in each. The problem dissapeared - no hangs or other bugs. File integrity check haven't find any problem btw.
Last thing i remembered - it all started after Windows update. But why problem persist in the new profile with same name then? Well, at least the new-new profile works just fine.

Can you upload your profile please? (found in user/profiles/xxxxxxxxxx.json)

Henlo! I got a problem - i have played spt-aki 3.7.1 with mods for quite some time and everything worked just fine. I quit playing it for several days, and after i start to play it again - things get ugly right after bat: when i tried to move items - game start to "load" every single item i moved. It has take some time for game to move items from one place to another. And after that, when i tried to buy/sell some items to traders - their trading screen start to "load" items. After 2-5 min of "loading" the critical error pops up, saying "request timeout" or something like that. And the game just hangs, infinetely loading main menu, without any error in main server console.
I thought that maybe some mods start to conflict with each other, so i delete them, but it has no effect. Then i tried to install 3.7.3 from the scratch, using SPT aki installer, but the new version, without any mods still had same issue. After that i thought that maybe there's some version mismatch, so i delete it all again and do the next:
- Update EFT Client to 13.9.1.27050
- Copy client files in another folder- Double check that files is still 13.9.1.27050
- Downgrade EFT Client files from version 13.9.1.27050 to 13.5.3.26535 using AKI patcher (Nov 9th 2023 ver)
- Double check that files is now 13.5.3.26535- Install SPT AKI 3.7.3 in this folder with 13.5.3.26535 game files
- launch server
- launch game via SPT AKI launcheraaaaand... No effect . SPT AKI is 3.7.3 now, i didn't install ANY mods, but this "timeout" bug is still there. My guess that is smth with my IP address, last time i managed to fix it, by launching VPN and it's just worked somehow (yeah, i had this problem waaaay before). I have tried this again, but no use.
Send help pls. -
First of all - thanks u all for the support, i really appreciate it. At this point, I have already tried everything I found on this forum on this RAM leak issue - and it still no use... Now I decided to return to version 1.5.0. And with this version the old problem returned: /client/notifier/channel/create error, that cannot be fixed by anything. So basically nothing changed for me: it is still a RAM leak that prevents me from playing this game, but now it keep spamming this notification error bulls*it. Idunno what to do.
Thanks again for your support guys. -
afaik, saw it on youtube from eroktic interview you can try to while on raid turn off ram cleaner save then esc turn on ram cleaner. that will fix it. it's the problem of the game not the emulator, as for fps drops idk probably, but at times fps drops mid to late raid due to ai spawning. more ai more resource it use. havent found a solution yet since if you check on it the gpu and cpu usage will also go down in percentage after spawn waves and that's the start of the fps dipping base on my experience
When i was using 1.4.* patches - everything was working just great on any map, even if i change bot spawn rates to maximum. With patch 1.5.1 and 1.6.0 escapefromtarkov.exe starts to consume RAM like crazy.
-
I've tried to use couple of different third-party RAM cleaners - no use. It cleans stand-up memory, but the game itself takes other type of it. It just EAT it on and on and on... And when its nothing left - game (and system as well) start to freeze and lag like hell. Also i noticed that there's no "channel/create" error in my server window anymore.
-
Where do i start... Well, let's start with a greeting: Henlo! Name's Charlie_h and i have a problem. Since prevous (1.5.1) update i have serious troubles with excessive RAM usage during the play. I have merely 16 gb RAM, but my game manages to use over 25 (!) gigs of memory closer to the middle of the raid, making EFT unplayable. With upd 1.6.0 problem still remained... It feels like (well, it is!) RAM usage growing exponentially as soon as i start the game. Looks like notification bug to me. All versions before 1.5.1 was work just fine btw.
What i tried:
- Prompt/PowerShell command certutil.exe -f -addstore Root C:\SPT-AKI\user\certs\cert.pem (Then It says that cert has been succesfully added to library or something like that). With admin privileges and "quotes" indeed.
- switch notification channel multiple times
- successfully install .NET thing
- i did the above methods on a clean version of the game (w/o mods)
- swear at memory leak
None of these actions has no effect. Please, help me...
