  • Friendly PMC Head&Voice Customization Patch

    Here are patches for Friendly PMC to allow you customize your squad mates' heads and voices. Two patches are available, for Friendly PMC version 3.8.2 and 3.10.0 respectively.


    You should not report any issues on the original Friendly PMC mod page if you are using this patch.


    📋To use the patch:

    1. Install Friendly PMC
    2. Install the latest version of WTT - Head and Voice Selector
      1. This allows you to dress up your PMC freely so you can preview how an outfit would look like on your squad mates.
    3. Download my patch, you have two choices depending on the version of Friendly PMC you are using:
      1. For Friendly PMC 3.10, use this patch https://github.com/nekoworksho…ization_patch_ver_3_10.7z
      2. For Friendly PMC 3.8.2, use this patch instead.
    4. Extract the content of the 7z file into your SPT install folder, just like how you would install a mod normally.
    5. Open \user\mods\friendlyPMC\config\customization.json to customize your squad. I've included some examples inside.
      1. "name" should match the squad mate name you assigned in the F12 menu.
      2. For "head" and "voice", use the name you see on the character screen.
      3. The config is only loaded during server startup. To apply your change, you need to restart SPT.Server.exe after you save the file.
      4. All three fields are case-sensitive.
      5. If you have never worked with JSON before, use a JSON linter or ChatGPT to validate your change so that you don't accidentally mess up the file.
    6. Launch the game then use the F12 menu to customize your squad. Make sure their name matches the ones you defined in the previous step.
    7. Enjoy your harem/gang.

    😊How to get the most out of your anime mods:

    1. For armor, Anime Shit now includes an invisible armor.
      1. Holtzman Shield should still work if you have prefer it.
    2. For rigs, Anime Shit now includes an invisible rig and backpack.
    3. For ammo loadout: An 1+1 magazine loadout is enough. One in their gun, and one extra mag in their rig. That's it. The game automatically refills their mag with the power of magic.
    4. Stuff you put in the secure container is not applied to your bot. If you want to give the bot meds and grenades, put them in their rigs.

      • tldr of the change: During bot generation, override the bot's head and voice if the bot's name matches a name defined in a configuration json. It's a purely server side change and is the suggested approach by Alex, author of Friendly PMC.
