Tired of being shot but can't figure out where the enemy is?

Want to know if the target is SCAV, PMC, or BOSS?

Can't find the dead body in the bush?

Don't want to miss a high-value loot in the marked room?


This mod provides accurate location indications of enemies and loots on the radar map to enable you a more casual gameplay style. Also, it can help you identify the side of enemies, like SCAV, USEC, BEAR, and BOSS. For example, if you only want to see the SCAV, set the alpha of the other sides to zero. If you only want to see the corpse, just enable corpse detection and set the alpha of all the other sides to zero.


The loot detection allows you to see high-value loot (value above the loot threshold in the settings) on the radar map and helps you find them easily. However, this functionality will severely degrade your FPS, so it's recommended to use it with a hotkey

This mod is upgraded from Tyrian's ACCURATE CIRCULAR RADAR STANDALONE. Please give the credit to Tyrian. Also, the high-value loot indicator relies on the LootValue, please install it if you want to use this function.

[Installation]

Unzip the zip file into your game folder, and make sure the DLL file is placed at gameFolder/BepInEx/plugins/Tyrian-Radar.dll.

    • You can disable the indication for a certain type of enemy by setting the alpha to zero.

  • Radar seem to have disappeared in raid. I've checked the F12 settings and it is enabled and I press the hotkey for disable/enable but nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod and yet still no radar.

  • Enemies only show up briefly when they fire at me. How do I make them appear all the time?

  • Is there a way to make it where it does not call for loot value so often? Like once per login should be fine. It causes a lot of lag when fetching lowest prices.

  • I made an account just to thank you for this mod! It's so good, I can't imagine playing SPT without this mod anymore. It transforms Tarkov into a real good single player experience, gives you a superpower to help fight against these OP bots. Though I have to admit, I did install SAIN, so all my bots are cracked.

  • Used to use it before and worked flawlessly but now the new version on fresh 3.9 doesn't work radar shows but no detection, compass mode doesn't work at all. Where could be the problem?

  • I finally understood what was going on! When switching the mod to Russian, the settings (Tyrian.Radar.cfg) are also saved in Russian simbols and this causes insidious problems of not saving the settings by ticks or the position of the radar on the screen)!

  • Feature request: An optional change wherein the precise npc location dots could be replaced with imprecise "pie-chart" wedges indicating their general direction from me.


    Why: While I like using a longer pulse delay to avoid lasering onto the AI's exact location, I still find myself staring more at the radar dot location (out of nervousness) than what's actually showing in front of me. I would find it more enjoyable if, instead of an exact location, I could only see a general idea of their location/direction.


    Perhaps the wedge (customizable if possible) would be around 10-30 degrees in breadth, with some randomization of where it lands over the bot per each pulse (whereas the bot's location might be centered under any of the 10-30 degree points within the wedge).


    All said, I enjoy your mod, and I appreciate your work :)

  • I can't seem to get the loot to work correctly on the radar any advice? I can get the dead bodies to show and players. I've tried adjusting the value and radius of the radar but nothing seems to be working.

  • I am getting an issue with this mod when loading in, I freeze when loading into a raid at 00:00:00 - 00:00:50 seconds and the log is outputting this constantly:

    The game will load me in after a 10-45 second wait though.

    • The flea market price is loaded from the online server, if your area lacks a good connection to the flea market server, I recommend you just use ITEM SELL PRICE.

    • Where would I set this? Also, this issue was happening when I did not have LootValue installed alongside this mod and persists with it installed.


      Edit: I have found that the ITEM SELL PRICE was a mod being referenced.

      Update: This issue is still present with ITEM SELL PRICE installed.

  • How do you activate? its in the correct folder but when i try to find it in load order i dont see anything, nor is their anytiing in the setting or anything. is there a HOT key im missing or something?

    • Check your X and Y offsets, they should be positive values.

  • throwing this onto the pile of "can't shoot in hideout shooting range" complaints. I shoot and nothing happens except ammo reducing, maybe pumping or cycling the bolt, the barrel heating up, and finally this error appearing in console. Sometimes I can shoot in hideout but I can't tell what changes when i can't and when i can.

  • Hey, above all, thanks for making this mod and your continued support of it. Really adds a nice tool to the SPT experience.


    However, I am experiencing two issues, which seem to mirror a few of the other comments here:
    1) After completing a run (scav or pmc), the shooting range in the hideout breaks slightly. There is no sound, or flash animation when shooting.


    2) I'm having an issue getting the radar to show up during a run. When the run starts there is no radar onscreen, even if the radar is enabled going into it; the only way I can get the radar back onscreen is to toggle the "compass mode" on then off again in the f12 menu, which pops it up in the middle of the screen, then I have to reposition it again (with x,y pos). Also, the "toggle radar" button only seems to toggle the radar off, but won't toggle it back onscreen, it takes enabling and disabling the compass mode again.

  • Just reinstalled everything today. Every raid I have to hit F12, go to Radar, enable and then disablew Compass setting to get the radar to show up. How can I get this to show up right when raid starts without needing a compass?

  • Love, love, LOVE the update to show enemies only when they shoot, but how about an option for when they see you - ie. they only show when they have player in sight?

  • A suggestion, if you take any: Show loot on W-List mode. Depending on the per-slot value you set, some important but not numerically valuable loots like cans of gasoline don't get marked due to their size.

  • I have the same issue with the radar resetting each raid. The radar doesn't completely disappear but is cut off and I have to re-adjust it each raid. This wasn't an issue on the previous version. Could it be because of my screenaspect ratio of 21:9?

    • A simple solution can be to disable and enable the radar with hotkey.

      Could you join the Discord server and help with the testing? I cannot reproduce this problem on my end.

    • Sadly that just resets it to the wrong position. And I can't seem to join the discord, maybe because I'm a new account.

    • Ok. Had this issue the first time I booted with this mod, but upon restarting the game after it being open for 2 days, I can now shoot in the range.

  • Loot detection is automatically turned off after a period of time during a raid

  • the compass mode reminds me of Blacklight Retribution, you could see through walls but it would play an animation when entering and exiting the mode, and you couldn't fire during it

  • Unlike others before me every time I go into raid (or press F10) my position of the radar keeps resetting to a spot roughly -300 x and -100 y of what I put in. It only fixes itself when I update the X or Y to any number and yes I do have the latest version as well.

  • With the new update i have to change either the X or Y value to get the radar to appear on screen, every single map. Even if i have not changed the X or Y value before i exit the map, the radar disappears between every map. Not sure if this is intended or not.


    In my case the value for X is 210.0 and to get the radar back when i enter a new map i just change this value to 210.0 or 210.01.


    I have tried deleting the config and reinstalling the 1.1.5 version, but this did not fix anything.

    • Try downloading the 1.1.5 again, I just updated the settings.

    • Redownloaded per your suggestion. Removed the config file again to be sure. No difference.
      The only new thing i noticed is that if i enable/deactivate it in the mod settings the radar stays gone until i change one of the X/Y values again.

    • Could you try again? If it doesn't work, could you join the discord server so I can do some tests with you? I cannot reproduce the problem from my side.

    • After reading that you couldn't reproduce it on your end, i decided to try and re-install SPT and have the 1.1.5 version be the only mod installed. No change, it still disappeared if i enabled/disabled it in the mod settings, it only came back if i changed the X/Y value again.
      FYI: I only pressed the button in the F12 settings and i changed no other settings in the modmenu or the bepinex settings. This was tested a completely stock install of SPT and i changed no settings anywhere, no graphical settings either.

      This leads me to think that the problem may be locally on my PC, and i don't know how to troubleshoot that. I tried updating my GPU drivers and restarted my PC after that, ran the new SPT install and tested if that made a difference, no change.

      This is giving me a headache and has taken enough of my, and yours, time and energy. I'll take break from all this and i'll be going back to 1.1.4, since that worked flawlessly for me.
