A radar mod that displays enemy locations and identifies various enemy types.

[Description]

Tired of being shot but can't figure out where the enemy is?

Want to know if the target is SCAV, PMC, or BOSS?

Can't find the dead body in the bush?

Don't want to miss a high-value loot in the marked room?


This mod provides accurate location indications of enemies and loots on the radar map to enable you a more casual gameplay style. Also, it can help you identify the side of enemies, like SCAV, USEC, BEAR, and BOSS. For example, if you only want to see the SCAV, set the alpha of the other sides to zero. If you only want to see the corpse, just enable corpse detection and set the alpha of all the other sides to zero.


The loot detection allows you to see high-value loot (value above the loot threshold in the settings) on the radar map and helps you find them easily. However, this functionality will severely degrade your FPS, so it's recommended to use it with a hotkey

  • Optimize Radar display logic, now you won't see it before the battle starts and in the hidden out.
  • Optimize logic for loot loading.
  • Remove the need for a separate *.bundle file, now the mod only has one *.dll file.
  • Forgot to mention that Chinese language support has been added starting from the previous version. If you need more language support, let me know.

  • Show the enemy's location and types based on color. Red for BOSS and its followers, green for Scav, and yellow for PMC.
  • Adjustable detection range.
  • Adjustable scale of distance showing (enemies near you will be more distant from each other).
  • Adjustable scan interval (update rate of the radar map).

The adjustment can be done through the BepInEx's F12 menu.


[Installation]

Unzip the BepInEx.zip into your game folder, and make sure the DLL file is placed at gameFolder/BepInEx/plugins/Tyrian-Radar.dll.

  • It would be really cool if this could be like a UAV style where you shoot a yellow flare and it shows up for a limited time. could integrate with firesupport

  • Is there a way to customize which items show on the loot radar?

  • Would it be possible to get range markers on each concentric circle? Sometimes with the range set to default it's harder to judge how far away enemies are.

  • For me the loot radar doesn't work most of the time. I press the F9 key but nothing happens. In other raids it works properly though. Am I doing something wrong?

  • doesnt work for some reason is there an error with the game panel mod (compass health hunger etc display) it showes up in my f12 menu but when i hit f10 it doesnt activate at all changed keybind still doesnt work

    • Yes, but if your mod works fine, you can ignore them.

  • Is there any possibility we can get the item radar to work off the Value per slot, rather than the total value, and a toggle for trader/flea prices?

    • What does the per-slot mean?

    • So Say a hand drill sells to therapist for 60,000 roubles, Its a 2x3 space item, so its worth 10,000 roubles per slot. Compare it to say a fuel condition which is worth 40,000 rouble but is only 1x2 making it worth 20,000 per slot, The hand drill is more valuable, but so big its usually not worth picking up

  • this is great, but one request to consider - a setting where enemies only flash for 1 second on the radar if they are shooting a weapon (non-suppressed), otherwise they are not seen on the radar. (like call of duty)

  • Hi, would it be possible to add a shortcut to toggle between two radar ranges that we could set up separately?

  • I haven't test if it detects Cultists, but would be nice if we could have a separate color for them.

  • can't say about specific option, but with loot and corpse detection enabled i'm getting minus 40 to 50 fps drops, the game just stalls to 45 fps flat on 7800x3d and 4080 super with radar on.

    both on 3.7.6 and 3.8

  • This was working for me perfectly before 3.8.0 but now it won't show up. It is there in the F12 menu and I can change the settings but no matter what I do the radar won't actually appear.

  • So, I might just not be installing it right. But I have the .dll file moved into the BepInEx folder and then into plugins. So it's BepInEx>plugins>Tyrian-Radar.dll

    The radar shows up in my game and I can edit the settings. But nothing comes up on the radar. No loot, none of the Scavs or bosses or PlayerAI. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it

  • It seems to work fine on every map except on streets, it makes the map unplayable for me as its super laggy. I get like 5 FPS and as soon as I disable it, FPS goes back to normal. Once its disabled in game I cannot re-enable it untill i exit raid and start another and once I enable it again it wont let me disable it until I get in a new raid. Is there perhaps a certain setting that needs to be changed for proper operation on streets?

  • The radar is great and all. but it's too accurate, you know what i mean? since tarkov is one the shooter game of all time, Is it possible to make it at approximate radar like in destiny. You know what direction and how far the enemy is but never exactly where they is. that will make you require ear to play again. but yo, great mod!

  • This mod seems to increase "Creating Loot Pools" time.

    Without this mod it takes about 4 seconds.

    With it gets to about 50% in 10 minutes, then stalls there and makes me force quit.

  • Is there any way to move the radar and resize it? Or is that coming in a later version? I know 3.8.0 just released so I understand everything is still updating, just curious as the default location is almost in the center of the screen and makes it very intrusive

    • Press F12, and look for ''radar'' you can edit just about anything there.

    and

    SP Tarkov\BepInEx\plugins\Tyruan-Radar.dll

    but am still getting the missing JSON error. Obviously doing something stupid but I cannot work out what, any help?

    • If you're scavving, all the green are friends. Everything else is enemy, including bosses and raiders, etc.
      If you are on PMC, you are an army of one. There are no friendlies. Everything on the radar that's not you is an enemy.
