Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X

Ever get fed up trying to line your crosshair up just right to loot an item? No more! Now loot any loose loot nearby

Have you ever seen an item you wanted to loot, but just couldn't quite line your crosshair up on it to pick it up? No more! Now you can open your inventory and loot any loose loot item within a configurable radius that you can see.


That's really about it, functionally it's pretty straight forward, technically it was a major pain to get working. Let me know if you run into any bugs :)


Note: Quest Items can not be drag/dropped into your inventory, as they are not standard inventory items. You can Ctrl+Click them to move them straight into your quest inventory


Installation

1) Open the downloaded zip file in 7-zip

2) Select the folder in the zip file in 7-zip

3) Drag the selected folder from 7-zip into your SPT folder

Configuration

Loot Radius (Default: 1.5 meters):

The distance to look for loot. The center point is the middle of your body, 0.5m off the ground. 1.5m worked well in my testing

  • Is there a possibility to modify the loot radius through game files?

    • The only available options are what's shown in the F12 menu

  • Hey, is it possible to make it loot slightly through walls/floors? alot of items for me seem to be lodged in the floor where I cant reach it, not even with this mod

    • There's already a slight radius around the feet that allows looting items without a collider check. However I have no intentions of expanding this area, as I don't want this mod to allow looting through actual physical walls or floors

  • No longer work propelly with fika, we see the items but we can't take them in our inventories

    • It has never worked with Fika

    • It sort of did until the recent Fika update. before, if you looted any items with this mod the items would still remain on the ground for other players, and some inventory desyncing could happen, but for the most part the mod worked. Fika updated some stuff to do with inventory management a few days ago and now if you attempt to pick up any item with this mod the item just snaps back into the loot radius grid and can't be picked up.

    • Can confirm the above. It worked flawlessly, except that it was desynced quite a bit, but I only play with one more person so we coordinated the looting so to speak. We managed to get around the desyncs.
      Now it doesn't work at all anymore, But by the sound of it Fika f'ked that function up.

  • I hoped that this mod will fix the labs loot under the floor spawn problem. It didn't but its still a great mod

  • Is there any possibility that the foot radius can be exposed to the configuration files or BepInEx menu?

    While I've gotten used to clambering on top of random furniture, benches, ledges, and other such thin materials to grab stuff with the help of my toes, there's several rather thick objects - boxes, crates, and barrels being the most noticeable - where even the foot radius can't help me because it's fallen through the object and all the way onto the floor underneath it, so there's simply not a location I can stand on to get the object inside the foot radius zone.

    After having just left a raid where Sense was telling me a LEDX was clipped inside of a crate, the straw has finally broken my camel's back and I have come to ask if Doctor Drakia has a splint I can wrap around it.

    • Nope, this mod is meant to assist with looting items you can normally loot (And a few that are slightly inside objects). It is not meant to loot through walls/objects or act as a loot vacuum

  • When we remove mods from the weapon, via rButton> uninstall, during a raid and we have space in the backpack, mods will moved to the `nearby items`.

  • Have you considered adding a toggleable feature to allow you to grab items "through" objects? I.e. items past a barrel or phased slightly under the map? I've had issues where I couldn't grab items on a shelf on customs because a chair was in the way.
    I got this mod to begin with because I thought I would be able to grab the items that phase through the ground, but I can't obviously. Still a nice mod and this was just a thought.

    Here posted some images about what could possible be a bug. All i can say is that it happens randomly. How to give an step to step guide would be hard. Have no idea as it's not by having the game up for long but happened this time in the first raid. other times it just don't happen at all.

    • I've seen a few reports of this, but never managed to replicate the issue myself, so have been unable to dig further into its cause

  • Regrettably it does not work properly with FIKA co-op, as items picked up with the loot radius will not be deleted from other players' games. :( Absolutely adore this mod and see it as a near-necessity so I hope you can fix this!

    • I hope that changes, it's a very good mod!

    • I've played with another friend none-stop and we have the same "issues".
      We've found ways around them pretty consistently.
      For example if you pick something up and after that your teammate picks it up, drop it for sec and it will dissapear from your teammates inventory, at least that has worked flawlessly for us with all items that have had that "issue".

  • Any idea how to fix the hud-bug where the loottable dont show up?

    It happends when i install some plugins for example the latest sain-update.

    (No consoleentry and its still listed in the f12 menu)

  • Any chance you'll add an option to enable us to use this mod to grab loot through (at least some) objects?


    It's pretty common for loose loot items that are supposed to spawn above surfaces, to instead fall through those surfaces. Sometimes that means that items that should be on a table end up on the ground instead, and sometimes it means that things end up partly or fully inside other things (e.g. mattresses, cabinets, floors, etc.). Some of those items are accessible, other times they're not.


    Of the ones that *are* accessible without this mod, I've seen a few instances where the loot was just far enough inside the other object that I wasn't able to grab the item using this mod.

    • There is a small radius around you feet that ignores the vision check, to allow you to retrieve items that spawn inside the floor or couches. However I have no plans to expand this, as it would then allow looting through walls

    • Me and a teammate have had the same issue and I was about to comment this as well.
      We are fully aware that a to big radius would be 'cheating' but it would be nice if a setting could be added (that is off by default) that could let people choose to turn it on.
      It's not the biggest problem but it has led to some ocasional unsatisfying moments where loot was unaccessible.

  • I just found that Shift-clicking in raid teleports items to the void and them they got returned in sort-table post raid.

    I got told some people do have that problem with Loot Radius + Quick Move To Container so I'm here.

    • This is a base BSG bug related to offline raids, and isn't caused by my mods

  • A few times now I've experienced an issue where I will attempt to pick something up using shift click from the mod UI (proximity loot), then trying to use left click to manually move an item will cause a white box to center itself on my screen, so I can't see what's in the middle. Very hard to shoot bad guys when I've got cataracts lol.

    To reiterate, shift click in proximity loot UI, then left click another (or the same) item in the proximity looting UI will cause the issue. Haven't found another way to recreate it.

    • This isn't caused by Loot Radius, it's a base Tarkov bug caused by interacting with items too quickly: White Box Fix

  • Does anyone know of compatibility issues with any other mods? I can't seem to get this one to function as intended all of a sudden. I have quite a few mods, ~60. Any other people out there that have had similar problems?

    • Same here, no loot shows up, even though ground is full around me.

    i have some problem... there's an item right front of me and it not show up on nearby loot.

    • I also get some items not showing when in front of me. My guess would be that the loot sometimes sink into the object it was sitting on.

    • F12 has a setting for the radius to search

    • Nah I meant like to go even further beyond 10 like one Morbillion or something like that

    • I do not allow it to be extended beyond 10m, this is on purpose and will never be increased

    • you can get his source code and edit it. You barely need knowledge of C# to do it. Just dont try to publish it and keep it as personal use only. I use it as a item vac after doing this myself.

  • hey, really great mod, though i'm having an issue where only quest items are showing up in the loot ui, no other items will show. mod seems to be working fine other than that. any ideas?

    • I've never seen or heard of this occurring. Are you sure the other items you think should be included are within visible range of your head, and within the distance defined in the F12 settings?

    • hmm the issue cleared up on its own, probably something i wasn't doing right. works perfectly now

  • Half of the raid was ok. After opening Weapon Box there was something like this. I have no words to describe it xd.

      I don't think it's related to this mod, since it's been reported on previous versions

    • Same thing has been happening to me too. About halfway through the raid it seems to start opening the loot radius on top of container loot like his video shows

  • Just a small bug report but you can still grab the used flare cartages after using them.

  • Just want to thank you for this.. Untill this mod i had never been able to find bit coin, or anything that was really rare or expensive loot. even when bit coin showed up in th evicinity, i tried looking for it but couldnt find it. bsg hides stuff too good. so thank you.

  • I find that often the mod misses items, like if they are on the floor or on a table.
    One place I see it consistently missing is in the relax room in streets, on the tables where whiskey spawns.

    That being said, it is pretty great so far, it makes doing marked rooms much easier.

    • ahh somewhat, i had that thought as well, but i think tables and certain things act like walls, cause i think you cant loot threw a door? but so i figured out a good way, just run into a room hit tab, and then walk to the corners of the room, and usualy that helps the items to show up, so i go into a room and hit tab liek 3 or 4 times while walikng around the room and it will show up, you can also set the distance if you max it to 10 then that usualy picks up all the items.

  • I am loving the mod thus far, however I had an idea whilst trying it out.

    Not sure if this is feasible but I was thinking a killer feature add for this would be the ability to walk while the inventory was open. Not necessarily when scanning for loot, but rather while packing mags/ doing general inventory management.
