A new weapon has entered the battlefront - the Unheard Kukri! From Unity Store, straight to Tarkov. This UNIQUE melee weapon is worth EVERY PENNY, and magically increases your pockets on purchase! Money me. Money now. Money me needing a lot now.

This mod adds a new melee weapon to Tarkov - The Unheard Kukri!

Ported from the Unity Asset Store, this TOTALLY NEW & UNIQUE ONE OF A KIND BLADE is going to CHANGE YOUR WORLD!
It can be found sold at Peacekeeper for $250 USD.

Included is a config option (enabled by default) that increases your pocket size to the old alpha pockets - or should I say new Unheard pockets.

  • I'm having the issue where the KuKri does not load its display image in Peacekeeper's inventory. I'm using version 1.0.2 of this mod and SPT 3.9.2.


    I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the mod and moving it around my load order. I also tried cleaning the temp files through the SPT launcher. Any assistance would be appreciate.

    I encountered an error, when I open the traders page it pops up

  • Made an account just to say, if you are unable to see the Unheard Kukri ingame. You need to change a line of code in the mod's file. (It seems the mod author forgot to enable the item in the trader's inventory)


    Goto: " user\mods\Unheard Kukri - Unity Store Edition\db\Items ".


    You should see a json file called " unheard_kukri.json ". Open this file up with notepad or notepad ++, then press Ctrl + f to search for the line " addtoTraders " and you should find it between these two lines:


    "ModdableItemBlacklist": null,

    "addtoTraders": false, < This one.

    "traderId": "PEACEKEEPER",


    Change 'false' to 'true' on "addtoTraders" so that it becomes "addtoTraders": true,. Then make sure to save the changes. Once I enabled this in the " unheard_kukri.json " file and got back ingame I saw the kukri in Peacekeepers' inventory at lvl 1 before doing any quests. Hope this helps anyone confused! :)


    Also, the mod works on version 3.8.1 of SPT as far as I am aware. :thumbup:


    edit: BTW love the sarcasm of this mod, and the fact that I can use such an exclusive item.

    • Lmao, I figured that was the case with people's comments, just been on the backburner for a bit.

      I'll push a new update with the config setting enabled, my bad 8)

  • I'm level 13 in game, it doesn't show on peacekeeper nor in the flea market, in the melee weapon section it's not listed as barter either. the pockets are working tho.

  • Turns out, the model isn't actually from the unity store (not the one that's in tarkov, anyways.) The knife in game is a real kukri knife, and so are these store models, the one in game is scanned with a machine that BSG owns for scanning 3d models and putting them in game (According to FortyOne, the voice actor for Usec 3 - Josh). I took the game's model and the unity store model and compared them, there are visual differences on the handle, and the topology (in layman's terms, the way it was modeled) is also very different.
    Still doesn't excuse what they did, but credit where credit is due.

    • it is the same knife, both are modeled after the M48 kukri, but it is not the same knife MODEL. BSG's model IS different from the unity store model one. People just thought that it was the same model because it is based on the same knife.

  • I found that there were several offers on the Flea Market for the knife, but it did NOT show up in the Peacekeeper trader.
