This Trader is in BETA DEVELOPMENT and is not finished. Down Below I have listed all available features of this mod and all current development details proposed for future updates to this mod. Updates are pretty frequent with this mod so if something doesn't work in your game, check to see if there is an update. Thanks for reading!

- Includes almost all available keys to be unboxed, ranges from common keys, uncommon keys, rare keys, and extremely rare keys

- From regular access keycards to the rarest keycards found throughout Tarkov, try your luck for access to some of the best loot rooms in the Lab.
Mystery Loadout
- One kit, one unbox. Includes all gear and equipment you need for a raid—all in one mystery box. Loadout is randomly generated and items correlate by rarity. Meaning if you unbox a high-end weapon you have a higher chance or receiving higher end gear and ammunition. Lower tier weapons will mostly consist of lower tier equipment and ammunition. Meme/cursed weapons have a higher chance of generating higher tier equipment and ammo, just for the meme.

- Gamble your roubles for a chance at unboxing some rare ammunition, be careful as these can be a money sink, but worth it for a chance at some late wipe ammunition.
- Still working on stock and amount of rounds generated balancing and might even lock away a few of the better calibers behind quest rewards in the future

- Looking to double up your roubles? This mystery container offers a 50/50 chance for 5 million roubles or nothing at all. If your feeling lucky you might just end up rich or end up like a Timmy who lost it all and has to start doing loot runs on the Streets to make ends meet.

Trader Features
Automatically Priced Mystery Containers
- All Mystery Containers (excluding Mystery Loadout) will automatically price balance itself upon server startup and the generated prices depend on three factors:
- Flea market price of all rewards available from the Mystery Container
- Some reward items will instead use an "Override" price from the config that is meant to make certain items priced much more expensively like blacklisted ammo and armours, as I believe these items are way too cheap in SPT by default. These override prices can be configured and turned off in the config.
- Mystery container odds (Config Configurable)
- Expected profit return percentage of the mystery container (Config Configurable)
- Each mystery container has a "_profit_percentage" in the config which determines the profit margin each mystery container will have for each generated mystery container price. For Example:
- If the config has the following: "armor_profit_percentage": 1.10, The Armor Mystery Box will have an average return profit margin of 110% if each reward is sold on the flea market.
- Each mystery container has a "_profit_percentage" in the config which determines the profit margin each mystery container will have for each generated mystery container price. For Example:
- Flea market price of all rewards available from the Mystery Container

Installation
- Remove any old version of the Gambler trader before installing any new update located in SPT/user/mods.
- Download the mod, open zip file then drag and drop 'user' folder into your SPT directory.
- You don't have to worry about load order anymore as that is handled by the mod now.
Config Features: GamblerTrader\config\config.jsonc
- Ability to change mystery container prices, stock, and odds of each outcome (Current Odds are subject to change in updates)
- Profitability settings of each mystery container will directly influence each mystery container price
- All Mystery containers offer the ability to be disabled if you don't want the Gambler to offer certain mystery containers
Known Compatibility Issues:
- Raid Overhaul - Make sure The Gambler loads before Raid Overhaul in the Load Order. The console will spam handbook price issues if not properly loaded before Raid Overhaul
Recommended Mods:
- Kaeno Trader Scrolling - If you have too many traders this mod allows you to scroll to reach all of them
- UI Fixes - Provides a hot key to open mystery boxes quickly, instead of right clicking every container and pressing 'unbox'

Automatic Mystery Container Price Balancer
- All mystery containers (excluding Mystery Loadout) are now officially price generated by the automatic price balancer.
- Weapon Mystery Box and Mystery Helmet will calculate the price of the base weapon/helmet and all the included attachments when determining the final container price.
- Rewrote how containers are price generated. Now all calculations are much more accurate than the previous implementation.
- Container price generation during server load is now much faster, pretty much instantaneous.
BALANCING:
- Most Mystery Containers now have infinite trader stock as I'm much more confident with the automatic price balancing as this change allows the player to gamble until they are broke.
- Re-calibrated overall chance to profit on all containers:
- With the change of allowing infinite container stock and better automatic price balancing, all containers are set at a fair price to allow the player to gamble to their hearts content. Most containers will be a little more expensive than before, but keep in mind there is always a chance to strike it rich, as everything is a gamble.
- The only main issue I am having with balancing is the price of blacklisted items that don't have a finite price that everyone agrees on. This is something that will continue to updated on. Blacklisted item prices like ammo and armour can always be changed in the config at "mystery_container_override_price" if you want to take a look at how I've been pricing items that are injected into the automatic price balancer.

In this new update, the Gambler offers everything you need at the click of a button with the new Loadout Mystery Bag. This update also includes the new Medical Mystery Kit, a few mystery container changes, and a balancing overhaul for a few other mystery containers

The easiest way to find all of them is in 'zzzGamblerTrader/src/MysteryContainerInfo.ts' inside of the MysteryContainerInfo object each mystery item has a corresponding _id. Ignore the quest_id as that is not used yet.

This has been fixed, sorry. The mod was trying to put the new poker chip currency in lootable containers in-raid, but they are not released yet. If you re download the 0.2.4 update it will not have this issue anymore.

Do you have a mod that increases your inventory size? Opening mystery boxes while your inventory is larger than normal will produce errors. There is no fix for now sadly.

Scorpion has 4 quests to increase stash size by 2 lines for each quest. Oddly, this is an error we only got after updating to 3.9.8.

A "Backend error: Request time out" occours when I try and open a sealed weapons case I bought from the trader.

I think I found a bug? Mystery 12.7x55 Rounds does not include PS12A. It only has PS12 and PS12B. I tried with 200 Mystery Rounds, but I only hoyy PS12 and PS12B.

Stacktrace: Error: Cannot find module './containers/armors'
Had to change lines 4,5,6 in /src/itemCreator.js to begin with uppercase for each of the equipment types referenced inside the containers folder.

what is the chance to get the golden akm ? i gambled 500 cases on my test acc and nothing!?

Well there are currently 31 meme guns and there is a 7% chance to get a meme gun per unbox, so about 0.22% chance to get the gold akm per unbox, which is extremely low. Someone in the past asked for a meme mystery box and I might add one in the future.
If you really want to get it, you can go in the config and set "weapon_meme": 100.0, and set the rest of the "weapon_values": 0.0 and you'll get a guaranteed meme weapon each unbox. Then you should get the golden akm in 1/31 unboxes

Hey Hood, saw the update! Any chance things are a bit more balanced this time around? Want to prevent the clients I play with from racking up tens of millions over a few minutes. Any chance the odds are better in this update?

I took a little bit of your advice that the house should always win, and there should be no mystery container that is extremely profitable anymore. If anything you will probably go broke if you mass spend your money on gambles. Its not perfect, but it should be more balanced this time.

Ah i see. When you purchase a mystery box you have to unbox it to get the item. Right click on the Taiga and press 'unpack' to get the reward.

Ended up being super un-balanced for us. Someone I play with started with two million and racked up 20 million trading mystery melee weapons in a matter of 10 minutes. Wish it was a bit more balanced but for now we will be removing it.

I appreciate the feedback, the mystery melee does currently have one of the highest profitability returns. It's something that'll hopefully feel better with more updates as its something that'll happen with more testing over time.

If there is any possible way to influence the number gen in relation to the item rolls, that would be great! For example, higher charisma players have a greater chance at winning overall. Maybe a system to implement skills into winnings! Thinking gambling Fallout New Vega style. High luck players in that game tend to clean out the casinos!
At the end of the day, the term "The House always wins" is a good one to abide by I think. Players should oftentimes loose way more than they earn, but rarely, they might hit it big!

Love the mod! Totally adds a new layer of fun to the game. Would it be possible to add a case for random weapons within a weapon class? Like random bolt action case, random AR case, shotgun, etc? It’d be sweet for shooter born and setup and what not.

It is true my mod will error out if you try to unbox these, but it seems base SPT as of 3.9.2 all equipment containers common, epic, and rare have no rewards to give at the moment. How did you get these containers? As I don't believe you should be able to gain these containers at the moment in vanilla SPT.
I'll add error handling to these containers, but as of now they will not return anything unless another mod adds items to their loot pool or the SPT devs add rewards to it

Is there any possibilities like just double clicking to open mystery containers feature to be added on this mod so that we can do gambles way faster? I partially understand this feature should be isolated as there's other containers or even ammo case also may be affected, but I'm kinda too addicted to this gambler mod and I just need the feature only for this mod.
Appreciated if you would think even once and answer me how you think about this.

It's definitely possible to add a double clicking feature, but it would require me writing a client mod, which is code written in a different language and is something I have zero experience with sadly. At some point I do want to learn how to create something like this in the future, but it'll probably be after I've implemented quests and added custom Gambler items to be found throughout Tarkov.

Thanks for the update! It gave me a mosin with 10 bullets last time with paca armor and a small backpack and i was like "what the hell am I to do with this on realism?" XD

There is still a chance to get the mosin with 10 bullets, but hopefully it is less occurring. It'll take more updates to get the loadout generation a little more balanced, especially with scav tier loadouts as the weapon mystery box is lacking in decent value scav weaponry.

First, I just want to say I absolutely love this mod! The random loadouts you added are amazing and have been keeping factory/labs/customs runs fresh for me.
Question however, for other custom traders with custom items, would it be possible to add those items to the loadout mystery box or boxes in general? Even if I had to use a config? e.g. I would love to use gear from the custom trader(s) Artem and Painter.

I have thought about adding compatibility patches for popular traders like artem and such at some point when I'm satisfied with the way my containers are handled, and adding items yourself through the config could be possible, but as of now its something I'll look into investigating in the future.
I have tested the random loadouts as much as I can, but I don't really play Tarkov as much as I should, so If there is anything weird happening with the generation or if you have a suggestion to make the loadouts better, don't hesitate to let me know. I want to make the generator as good as possible.

Hey there, first off love this mod lol I'm having an issue when I try to open one of the unlocked equipment/weapons/valuables crates. The cases that look like the items/weapons/money cases with a blue outline to it. When I go to open it I get the spinning wheel at the bottom right (Loading symbol) and it stays there for about a minute and then it kicks me to the main menu and says Backend Error. Any fix to this? I dont have the raid overhaul mod installed since i read that this mod conflicts with that one. Ill attach a link for a screenshot of the error messages in the server, Thanks and have a good one

Ref crate rewards aren't implemented yet in base SPT 3.9.0. They should be usable in 3.9.1
Also Raid Overhaul is compatible, you just need to make sure The Gambler loads before Raid Overhaul in the load order

Looks like when creating ammo you are using float numbers instead of int. Not sure if you are interested on fixing it or if it works as expected

Oh damn yeah my traders ammo is generated as a float when it should be an int. This is probably why ammo created by my trader bugs out when you sell it on the flea as well. Thanks for sharing this I'll fix it in the next update.
