SamSWAT Guns - Realism Compatibility Patch 1.0.2

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

This adds SPT Realism compatibility for various SamSWAT weapon ports (Module-AdditionalWeapons / Raid Overhaul by DJLang, SamSwat's L85A2 and GIAT FAMAS by OptimusChad).

Compatibility patches for the following weapons:

  • FAMAS
  • L85A2

If you experience any issues, feel free to open an issue. If fixing it yourself is more your thing, there's a guide on how to contribute on the GitHub repository.


Dependencies

Obviously, you'll need the weapon mod(s) that you need compatibility for, so:
Module-AdditionalWeapons and DJ Core API by DJLang, or SamSwat's L85A2 and GIAT FAMAS by OptimusChad, and SPT Realism for this to do anything. If you try it out with Raid Overhaul, you'll need that instead of MAW.


Installation

1. Download the latest release.

2- Drop the provided user folder into your SPT folder.


If the changes don't load, you may want to also clear cache / temp files.


1. In \user\cache, delete:

bundleHashCache.json, jsonCache.json, and modCache.json


But do NOT delete the folder named bundles.


2. In the SPT launcher, clear temp files:

Open launcher > Click settings > Click clean temp files


I might add support for more SamSWAT ports in the future.

  • Version 1.0.2

    This is for SPT v3.9.X and either “Module-AdditionalWeapons” v1.0.1 or "SamSwat's L85A2 and GIAT FAMAS" v1.0.2.

    (Yes, I'm aware that MAW isn't updated for 3.9.X yet).

    Made weapons compatible with Realism mastering, and lowered LL required to buy them.

  • Doesnt the port come with a Realism comp patch already?

    • Yeah it's my compat bundled with it, but I'm planning to add all the compats for SamSWAT stuff in one bundle.
