A SVM Preset and Realism Mod Configuration Example to be used for those who play PTT and Realism combined.

CCM Combined Configurations Mod.

a SVM preset, and Realism mod configuration example
for those who play Path To Tarkov and SPT-Realism combined.
note, that it can be used without. and functions good for that as well.

CCM. is going to be the base template for future projects.
lets get into it.

SVM CCM Preset

Inventory and Items

  • Allow Pistols on Primary
  • Allow SMG in Holster

Multipliers:

  • Item Weight: 0.65
  • Time to Load/Unload Magazines: 0.47
  • Time to Examine an Item: 0.35

Reasoning:

  • Item Weight: This is to tweak the SPT-Realism mod slightly.
  • Loading Times: Generally for quality of life improvements.
  • Time to Examine: I always hated that it takes time to realize you are holding a can of tuna in your hand. It never made sense to me.

Keys:

  • Infinite Uses Except Keys for Marked Rooms.

Reasoning: It makes sense that a key wouldn't break after using it a few times, but having infinite uses for marked room keys would be broken and abusable.

Ammo Stacks:

  • Pistols/SMG: 140
  • Shotgun: 80
  • Assault Rifles: 100
  • Marksman: 65

Traders

Price Markup:

  • Set all traders' prices slightly higher, except for Fence (since he's always available). This makes loot found in raids more valuable, especially with lower loot settings, adding to the immersion of Tarkov being run down and broken. Traders would be more interested in finding items like batteries and screwdrivers. Additionally, the multi-stash system rewards players for keeping and carrying certain items for better selling prices at specific traders.

Price Multiplier:

  • Prapor: Mainly sells old Soviet leftovers. After the Cold War, it makes sense that items are a bit cheaper.
  • Skier: Sells a combination of medium to higher-tier guns, so his prices should be a bit higher.
  • Ragman: Deals with armor picked up from dead people, similar to second-hand shops in real life, so his prices should also be a bit cheaper.
  • Mechanic: Similar logic to Skier, so prices should be higher.
  • Therapist: Being a humanitarian, it makes sense that she isn't profiteering too much, so her prices should be a bit lower.
  • Peacekeeper: Since Tarkov is set in Eastern Europe, imported Western weapons are more exotic and therefore more expensive, so higher prices make sense.
  • Jaeger: Sawn-off shotguns and such should be cheap, in my opinion.

Fence Settings:

  • If everyone can sell to Fence, and he has an underground network, it makes sense that his assortment is large, so prices should be a bit higher. This should be combined with adding more guns and a higher difference in durability. More guns should be available with large randomization in durability. The new stock time adds to immersion and improves general quality of life by providing new possibilities more often.

Traders and Services

Unlock Both (Why? The Drip, Bro)

Repair:

  • Repair Price Markup: Higher, making it more valuable to find higher-durability guns or get a good gun from Fence. This makes repair kits more valuable as well.

Insurance Storage: Increased a lot! For those of us who don't have a lot of time to play. Feel free to change this to your personal choice.

Loot

  • Lowered loot; didn't change anything else.

Player and Skills

  • Slightly Higher Skill Progression: To make your choices feel more impactful.
  • Energy and Hydration Loss: Higher, adding a survival element to finding food, etc. This also makes route planning more important.

End of Raid XP:

  • Lowered for surviving because in PTT, you're going to be extracting a lot, so you shouldn't be awarded too much.

Kill XP:

  • Rewarding actually taking gunfights, as staying away from them is typically the smartest choice.

Headshot Multiplier:

  • Lower. Why have it multiplied? Is this Quake? No. So unless you’re the sniper rifle marksman type, I’d keep it like this.

Raid Settings

  • Longer Raid Times: For immersion, and it makes sense with PTT.
  • Higher Time Acceleration: This makes one time zone a bit more balanced, improving your survival chances. I would set this to 1 and be forced to survive the nights, but since bots' night vision capability is still often broken (even with Sain, NVG, etc.), until this issue is solved, setting it to 9 makes sense.

Feel free to modify the Preset as you wish.
even better, if you do. please leave your modification in my comment section.

it is very sad, that i have to do it. and i wish it weren't so. but the use of medical changes and Hazard Zones.
have been dis-continued. since radiation binds to the profile.
even if the orginal file, gets re integrated.
it simply does not function with my CCM - Characters.

bye bye, sweet awsome extra immersion.

  • My hardcore realism config when put with easier progression mods like softcore

  • looks like this was meant to make Realism and PIT more streamlined for action.... I like it!!, will try it out and will also try to update my experience of it. Tarkov is weird though, it has to be either a mil-sim or an arcade like shooter with mil-sim elements. no inbetween or its just awkward. So ill do my best6 to report how these configs feel.

  • how to install?

    • first you get SVM. then you install SVM.
      then you go to user/mods/servervaluemodifier/presets
drop ccm in there. and load it up with SVM ^^

    • DM me nad i will explain lad

    • just made this for you friendooo

    • ty bro

  • would this work with softcore?

    Thinking 1
    • what do you mean with softcore?

    • the progression mod softcore

    • i think i remember trying that.
thats the one with barter based fleamarked no?

    • yeah that's the one. I'm thinking I can just turn off a lot of the overlapping softcore features and use yours instead

    • im not sure man, i havent tried.
i mean you can try. but please backup your stuff.
      also your SVM preset etc.
dont want to ruin anything for you ^^

  • I think you flipped two of the mod authors. Fontaine is Realism and GhostFenixx is SVM.

    Thumbs Up 1
    • is sure did, very embarrassing. thank you for pointing it out to me!

    • No worries, glad you fixed it :D Happens to the best of us.
