Compatibility for Realism & WTT - Armory - XM8 1.1

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Realism patch for Gamma's XM8

Adds a compatibility patch for Fontaine's Realism Mod and Gamma's XM8 1.0.0

Feel free to give feedback if you see something wrong or that can be improved.


How to Install:


Drag and drop the user folder inside your Tarkov root folder (just make sure "WTT - XM8.json" is inside "put_new_stuff_here" folder from Realism)

Or simply install with Mod Organizer 2 like a true civilized person.

    -reduced heat factor, should malfunction less now

    -rebalanced barrels, longer barrels are more accurate, short barrels less accurate with big velocity and malfunction chance penalty

    -rebalanced handguards, bigger ones favour accuracy at the cost of ergonomics, smaller ones favor ergonomics at the cost of recoil

    -rebalanced stocks, cap gives high recoil debuff in favour of ergonomics/aim speed

  • You are the real MVP! Thank you so much for your hard work on all these patches. Any plans to do the M107 or M700 long action rifles?

    • Trying to get recoil right, also not sure about ammo values because I don't know Realism balancing logic. Dunno if I'll do it since I'm about to start uni again.

      And the patches are really not that hard, you just refer to the cloned item from realism's templates and copy paste/edit some values, it's just a lot of stats property knowledge that isn't well documented.
