  • Hey, not sure if im blind or missing something but it doesn't seem your ammo lists its stats with the ammo stats mod.

    • I know I can find it in the ammo config, was just wondering if there was a way to make it display in game.

  • Returning to SPT after being out for a bit, crazy to see you still keeping the best mod on the SPT platform up to date and providing full support years later. I still give you big kudos for the 12.7x108 Bolter stuff on my request and always being happy to listen/answer my questions regardless of how dumb or redundant they may have been. Still such a saint for that alone, among this community of condescending jaded veterans (which is what pushed me out of the SPT community in the first place).

  • While trying to get the ammo from BB to work with Olympus, I was unable to find the IDs of the ammo in this pack. am I missing an obvious place/way to get those?

    • All of the ammo ids are found inside src/BiggerBangAmmo.ts

  • Very, very minor issue with your link. Internet Download Manager is unable to download the file and I always have to use browser. Not a huge issue and not sure how to remedy the situation.

    • The mod is hosted on dropbox, so it's probably something to do with how Internet Download Manager interacts with dropbox when downloading that is being blocked on their end.

  • I've been troubleshooting an error I've been getting when looting is generating in the raid with this mod, and a mod that adds custom magazines, such as Little Drummer boy, or other traders. It appears that Bigger Bang's custom ammo does not know how to interact with custom magazines (not the it should but worth looking into it).

    Basically the issue is that when the loot pool is generating, and magazines are trying to generate in containers with the custom ammo from Bigger Bang, a big red error appears on the log, and the raid does not finish the generation, hence hanging the raid load forever. I've tested it by removing various mods, and only when I removed Bigger Bang, the loot pool would generate normally, and the raid would begin.

    It's odd, though, because in certain maps it would load fine, but in Factory and Customs (not sure about other maps) it would create this issue. And it may not even be an issue with the map, but with how random the loot generation is, hence anytime a custom mag would try to fill with ammo from bigger bang (I'm assuming), it would show up on the log as "unknown".

    It's not a custom mag mod, because I have no issue loading in any raid. Only with Bigger Bang mod this issue appears.

    I LOVE this mod, and I'd love to see if there was a way to address this. Playing without Bigger Bang is not ideal for me xD.

    Let me know if I can provide any additional help. Bakahashi (the creator of Pity Loot mod) has seen the error and the log, because originally I thought it was that mod that created the issue.

    • I also use Little Drummer boy and haven't encountered that error as of yet, I'll see if I can reproduce the problem. If you could paste the error that gets produced in your log when the game freezes that might help me pinpoint where the issue is coming from.

    • So a similar error message just popped in my newly installed modpack and I did not put your mod in it. This concludes that it's some other mod that causes this occasional error. It's very much tied to a certain item that generates on the loot table in a specific container. This I know because I launched Customs and the error appeared. Then I launched again, and it launched normally. So it's a specific item and a specific loot generation order that makes this happen.
      It might be a trader, or some sort of added item.
      So anyway....sorry to waste your time. 8o

    • No worries at all, if anything I'm just glad it's not some super niche bug in Bigger Bang I haven't been able to track down! Hopefully you can pinpoint which mod is causing your issue :thumbup:

  • Is there a way to make the guns count towards quests like Setup and what not? Cause as of now they do not count

    • If you use the latest version, the MP-153 variant should have its kills counted for the Setup quest

    • I'll try it tonight and will see. Used it last night and It didn't count at all. Will update shortly.

  • How do I make everything more expensive?

    • The ammo variants all have their prices set by the Ammo -> Prices section in config.json, they're all valued based on Loyalty Level.


      For the weapons, vests, grenades etc. all those items have their prices set individually inside the .ts files within the src directory - every item should have a FleaPrice variable you adjust to your liking.

    • I think I've figured out how to blacklist the ammo types this mod adds, but I'm still working on getting the grenades to be removed from bot loadouts - hopefully it won't take me too much longer.

  • The quest are not popping up for me. Installed the mod, Boris is there, sold and bought some items to max trader level. Im level 42 and well past the Prapor and therapist starting quests. Does this need to be played on a fresh account? Also can't find the "debug-tier clothing" anywhere. Appreciate any help! Love the mod.

    • I haven't managed to get the quests working in 3.8.0 just yet, and same goes for the armour plate system introduced recently, so the only clothing items added to the game for now are some unarmoured rig and vest variants - hopefully I can get everything re-added at some point.

  • When dying with some items in inventory, insured by the trader from this mod, my game is freezing and the server gives this error. Didn't test other possible scenario of raid ending yet (i.e. extraction or lost).
    Maybe it is some compatibility issue, but no idea with what. I have some other custom traders, but none, that would do insurance.

    • Looks like the server is throwing an error when trying to find a message to send to the player from Boris about the items that have been insured - thanks for letting me know, I'll see if I can figure out a fix for this.

    • I've only added the full-auto variants for now, the "steadier" versions of guns haven't been added just yet.

  • Can someone tell me where the IDs for the custom grenades and ammo are?

    • If you open the mod's src folder and look in BiggerBangAmmo.ts and BiggerBangGrenades.ts you can find the IDs used for the new items, I'd recommend taking a backup before changing anything in there.

  • Could we have the Ammo values in the description?

    • You can see and/or edit all the custom ammo values in config/ammo.json, I might be able to add those values to the descriptions at some point, but it's a substantial amount of work given how many ammo types I'm adding in this mod :/

  • The MP-153B two-shot burst shotgun and Saiga AA-12 fully-automatic, when built, is saying item incompatible and will not let me equip it.

    • Weird, BSG must've changed something to do with how shotguns work as this is one of the same bugs that I used to have with the full-auto grenade launchers (that I never managed to fix) - thanks for the bug reports, I'll see if I can get the shotguns working again :thumbup:

  • I'm having some issues with the mod giving me errors and saying "cannot read undefined (reading 'filters')"

    • I'm guessing you have another mod installed that's conflicting with this one. All of the items added in this mod are copies of vanilla items, so something you have installed must be interfering with one of those items.

    • its SVM. I removed it and poof it started to work. But idk why since you said you also had it running on your end. What are your configs?

    • I'm using a tweaked version of the SVM_Default SVM Preset, although I'm just looking at the code for SVM now and the only mentions of filters that might override the items my mod copies from would be:

      • Allow armored rigs with armors
      • Removes backpack restrictions
      • Remove secure container filters

      However I've got all of those already enabled and have no issues, so I'm struggling to see where the problem might be. Do you have any settings enabled in SVM that you think would affect the filters used to determine what items can be stored inside other items?

    • I figured out the issue it something to do woth Case Space Manager setting and removing the filters. After undoing that the mod started to work
