Case Rejiggler 4.0.3

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Sick of swapping between docs cases and SICC pouches? Well now you can ditch the Docs for SICC and stop the swap. v3. Now with the ability for YOU to edit the size, filter list, and price of ANY case you want. You lucky thing!

Case Rejiggler

This mod combines my SICC_Intel mod with some changes I wanted to make to the THICC Weapons case.

Then when I went to make one further change, I decided to rewrite and enormously over engineer it to make it extensible via the config.json file by the end user. You're welcome!

Extensibility

You can use this mod out of the box to make the changes described below, but if you have the urge to make changes to other cases that I've not thought of, or you want to change my changes, well now you can! And with no need for coding experience. Everything is handled within the config.json file, and I believe in you!

The Readme contains pretty detailed instructions. as well as warnings, so please read those and be careful.

Docs and SICC changes

I was annoyed at having to choose between taking a Docs case or a SICC depending on what map I was going into and what I planned to do in there; often neither case was entirely appropriate. So this mod started off by enabling both Intelligence folders and the new (as of 12.12) Keycard holder cases to be stored inside a S I C C organizational pouch.

Since then I've expanded it a little to include other items that fit in a Docs case but not a SICC, and vice versa. So with all the features enabled (see Config Settings) the Docs case and SICC pouches will both take exactly the same types of items. The only differences will be size (5x5 for the SICC and 4x4 for the Docs) and of course price.

As the two cases are now so similar in function, I've added options to alter the size, shape, and price of the cases, so that you can adjust the balance how you see fit. The provided config file makes the docs case long and thin, like it very clearly should be, and adjusts the price down appropriately as you lose one square.

THICC weapons case changes

TWCs are annoyingly expensive and irritatingly slim. I don't mind saving up, but since I tend to hoard guns I don't really want to have to buy 2 or 3 of these things... So let's make them a bit chunkier, and to compensate, well make them appropriately more expensive 😩

No changes are made to the filtering of items that are able to go into the TWC.

Weapons Case and Item Case changes

Both have been made a little bigger, with everything else staying the same as they were annoying previously.

  • Version 4.0.3

Small change to the config to allow both allow dogtags from both sides in to Wallet and WZ Wallet.

  • Version 4.0.2

    Update for 3.8.0.

    No functionality changes.

  • Version 4.0.1

    Updated for SPT AKI 3.5.0

  • Version 4.0.0

Ported to TypeScript for the newer versions of SPT AKI.

No functionality changes; the config file works as before.

  • Version 3.0.1

Small bug fix and additional changes to the SICC pouch to allow chainlet and gold neck chain.

Docs case does not allow them just yet, but feel free to change that yourselves if you wish.

  • Version 3.0.0

The update that no one asked for, but everyone needs!

I went to make one further change, to add the Item Case... and decided to rewrite and enormously over-engineer this mod to make it extensible via the config.json file by the end-user,

So now you can use this on whatever case/container you like and rebalance them how you see fit, within the limits of my data validation checks, as described in the Readme.

It's even complete with almost-intelligible instructions!

    You're welcome!

  • Version 2.0.0

Merged the SICC_Intel mod into something I was working on for the THICC weapons case and decided to just make a single "Case Rejiggler" Mod that makes changes to sizes, prices and item filters.

Hope you find it useful, adjustable and fair.

    Enjoy!

  • Version 1.1.0

Added functionality to alter the filter of both the SICC and the Docs case, as well as change the size of both for optional rebalancing.

Details and Config settings in the Readme.

    Enjoy!

  • Version 1.0.0

  • Hey quick question, does this work with custom containers added via mods, for reference, I am trying to add the MICC (revivingly micc) and med pouch (wtt packnstrap) to the filter for the Medicine Case. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or if items added via other mods are just not supported.

    • Weird, that console output looks like it's worked I think?

Could it be that you're loading Rejiggler first and then MICC? Which I suspect would overwrite stuff... You could try renaming rejiggler to zzzrejiggler or watever so that it loads last. Or use the load order functionality (i've not used that so can't advise there).

I used MICC myself when I played and just changed the mods own config (or maybe it was in the JS/TS itself I dont recall).

Let me know if you solve it.

  • Hey Jiblet would be nice if the THICC Items case could be rejiggled as base aswell.
    Otherwise
    10/10

    • I'm not sure what you mean, please clarify?

    • The thicc items case is not in the config

    • Add it?

  • Sounds interesting so I might give it a try and see how it goes. Might be better than what you can do with SVM :p

    • SVM can handle the resizing, and has a GUI for those that can't handle sticking numbers in to a config JSON file.

The difference comes in how each handles item filters in the containers. SVM can turn simply them on and off, whereas this mod can change them, so you can add allowable items to particular cases as you see fit. It just takes a littl tiny bit of work to look up items in the Tarkov db site,

      Thumbs Up 1
  • Very nice, easy to add more cases.
I rejiggle, so should you. :)

  • Very nice ^^

    Thanks 1
