Ironman Mode 1.0.2

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Play like an Ironman from Runescape.

Based on my old Rags to Riches mod, this is Ironman mode for AKI! Inspired by the mode from OSRS.

Features:

  • Create a profile that starts you with nothing.
    • (Can be used with Iron Man disabled if you just want a Rags to Riches experience).
  • Can't create or buy offers from flea market (can still search for traders).
  • No Scav raids.
  • Insurance disabled on all maps.

How to install:

  • Place s1nk0-IronManMode folder to your user/mods folder.
    • If you want to disable it, go to s1nk0-IronManModeconfig and set ironman_enabled to false in config.json.

  • How does this mod work?

    Do you have to start at factory and successfully extract to unlock other maps?

    Or do you just go from factory to whatever map you desire according to extracts?

    Seems like a fun mod, just curious before I download it.

  • Hey Fantastic Mod, but I have one problem id like to report if you aren't already aware. When using to Flea to buy items from Traders when the mod is enabled, id have to refresh the market like 20 times before it allows me to buy the items from traders off of the flea. Trader items will show up but wont let me buy them right away without refreshing it a ton. same if I pre build weapons if I go to hit buy and apply it'll make me refresh the page a ton before it allows me to buy the items. pikapika

  • Nice mod idea here !

    I think this would be a nice companion mod to use with Path To Tarkov ;)

    Thanks 1
  • cool stuff, looks like a lot like pestily's hardcore challenge, very interesting in solo context

    Thanks 1
  • For players who used the mod prior to 1.0.2, here is how to add the alpha container to your inventory:

    Go to user\profiles and open your profile (check the name once you edit it with notepad).

    Add the following lines:

    Code
    {
    "_id": "5638456e36812c6df3dd5cd8",
    "_tpl": "544a11ac4bdc2d470e8b456a",
    "parentId": "5fe49cdfa19cac3fa905407f",
    "slotId": "SecuredContainer"
    },

    Under

    Code
    {
    "_id": "60dca3da42ad9b706b369aca",
    "_tpl": "602543c13fee350cd564d032"
    },

    So the final product looks like this:

    • Side note. You can also use Profile Editor, it has a section that adds stuff to stash without needing item IDs. Unless it conflicts with this mod then i guess dont do it

      Thanks 1
