POOP Variety 1.2.7

Do you enjoy POOP? I sure do, I've dug my fingers in it, pulled it apart, mashed it together again, finally separating POOP into 5 gritty and red-blooded presets.

This is merely a conglomeration of work created by minds much greater than my own. I simply changed a few numbers. All credit goes to original authors.

What does this mod do?

This mod includes 5 difficulty presets that enhance the AI during your raids.

Presets Include:

I'm too young to die (very easy)

  • Easier Bosses and Followers
  • Sniper scavs are not accurate for the first few shots
  • AI has limited awareness

Hey, not too rough (easy)

  • Also includes easier AI for Bosses and their followers
  • AI's vision is adjusted from 320 degree arc to a more narrowed 230 degrees
  • AI takes a little longer to aim at you once you are noticed

Hurt me plenty (tough)

  • Slightly tougher than the standard POOP
  • Sniper scavs and AI can now see you at greater and more natural distances
  • Semi-Auto rate of fire increased for all AI

Ultra Violence - (hard) Personal favorite

  • Bear and USEC faction now uses Boss level AI
  • Boss Followers now use High level AI same as Raiders and Rogues
  • AI shoots on sight and from long distances. You will die

Nightmare (veryhard)

  • Sniper scavs are more stealthy and rarely miss
  • Regular scavs now use Cultist AI
  • Recoil and rate of fire from AI is similar to Killa stats

  • are we supposed to turn on the advanced AI config in the original POOP? its disabled by default

  • what exactly are the spawn patterns?

    • I removed that part because LSR was causing PMCs to be unresponsive and not react to being shot at.

  • Bug:

PMCs seem to spawn as BigPipe, no matter which spawn config I use.

Happens when Lua's Spawn Rework (tried with only your presets and not with default config straight from Lua) is included and enabled in my mods folder. I am aware that Lua's Spawn Rework is outdated to 3.2.5, however when you said you tested LSR and had no problems, which mods were you using? Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Edit: SPT Realism has a config option that supposedly interferes with LSR. I disabled that, as recommended, and am still having the issue.

As always, thanks for your hard work.

    Mods/plugins:

    ACOG4Life-OpticRework

    AmandsGraphics 1.1.1

    Chomp-DisableFleaBlacklist

    Kobrakon-Adrenaline

    Lua-CustomSpawnPoints

    Lua-SpawnRework (using Raid Variety Test)

    SamSWAT.FOV

    SPT-Realism-Mod-3.3.0-Overhaul-v0.6.1

    zPOOP (using Raid Variety Test)

    • incompatible with SPT

    • ah gotcha. Is that because LSR is outdated?

    • I think it has to do with Spt Realism itself. Something with how the bots are generated

    • ahh okay, that's a bummer, thanks anyway

  • Getting a bug with Lua's that makes all PMC's ai busted, they wont move or react to anything.

Can't seem to figure out why this is happening in the configs

    • I noticed the same thing. I tried a few things but can't figure it out just yet.

I won't be back at my computer for a couple days but I should have more information

  • Does the options in game AI difficulty and AI amount matter? what should it be set to? I downloaded the 2 mods and am using the "easy" folder of this mod. Inside of Lua-SpawnRework config.json i only changed:

"default_pattern": "badaim - Bloodbath", from "badaim - default":

    "use_random_patterns": false, from true,

I ask because the spawn for this preset are really low (i choose AI difficulty as online and medium AI amount).

What should i be doing different to get more NPCs in the game or how do i config to have more PMCs or Scavs spawn?

    • dont change difficulty or amount.

if you do that, then the game will use the games settings. this mod explicitly works with 'As Online'

  • Thanks for the update. For your next version, would you mind making spawn_pattern global instead of local, and having GetModConfig() return spawn_pattern as well? That way you can modify

GenerateMapSpawns to show you which pattern you got at the end of the message instead of the beginning. Less repetitive stress injury to scroll up every map to see what you got. I can provide the modded mod.js file if you need me to.

    • If you already have it, that would save a little time and be very helpful

  • Not sure if I have an incompatible mod (not using POOP, just LSR) but like half of the AI I saw using LSR were Big Pipe. I use SPT Realism which is why I can't use POOP, so I'm not really asking for support, just thought I'd let you know. Have you had any issues/bugs with LSR yet on 3.3.0?

    • This was a problem with FAIT that may have carried over into POOP.

In FAIT, there was a config setting called "disableAllSpawnChanges". Setting this to "True" would somehow turn all PMCs into Big Pipe.

I haven't looked at POOP specifically but if it's derived from FAIT it may have inherited this bug.

I did a raid on each map with the default config before i posted it and everything seemed normal.

I think it might be a conflict with SPT? if that is the case then idk how to fix it? maybe that isnt it, what other mods are you running?

    • Other mods used were SVM, Andrudis Quest Maniac (the 3.2 version worked fine on 3.3.0), AI Limiter, Amand's Graphics, and I think that's it. From my understanding of LSR, it only changes spawn mechanics, not AI mechanics.

Since I have the spawn changes disabled in SPT Realism I didn't think it would conflict, especially since they worked fine together on 3.2.5. I know it's not up to you to fix it but I did think I should let you know. All I know is I was being (big) piped from all directions, all the time until I deleted LSR. I just want to enjoy these clinically insane configs that you devised again, not play Escape from Big Pipe :(

      Happy 1
    • try renaming the Lua-SpawnRework folder to this zLua-SpawnRework

edit; make sure that you install Lua SR first then install this mod. sometimes people dont know that is the order just making sure.

also good to know about Andrudis Quest Maniac working on 3.3.0 I miss that mod and didnt know it worked so thanks.

    • Will do. Using the work computer now, so I'll update you on this once I'm back home. Thanks.

  • possible to add in custom spawn points to decrease monotony? like perhaps where players go

    • you can use Lua's Custom spawn points with 3.3.0 and this mod. the linked mod is an old mod but it doesnt need updated because the zones are still the same.

    • wow cool thanks

  • awesome mod, so happy you updated to 3.3.0. thanks for not shitting around my friend!

  • you gotta be shitting me

  • Poopin it up! GG!

  • This will sound like a dumb question but what required mod do I need? I've installed this mod but no idea where to put it ;(

  • on nightmare do bosses use their melee weapons?

  • giphy.webp

    Happy 1
