I use motion blur enabled with my Amand's Setup.
Cry about it. In my opinion, Amand's Motion Blur makes Tarkov look way better since it runs like ass for most people, but since opinions aren't facts, you can turn it off by ticking the Advanced Options checkbox in your F12 Menu and turning the instances of it off in the 'Graphics' Tab in the same menu.

    In my infinite wisdom I realized that y'all's games arent gonna look like mine 1:1 because I run Amand's Graphics and i tweaked the fuck out of it to make the NVGs look better, so alongside the listed changes below, I am now including my Amand's Graphics Config file as an optional install if you want you game to look something like this:

    anyways, some patch notes y'all're not gonna read:
    -made the higher end NVGs (PVS-14, GPNVG) less susceptible to being blown out by light
    -made the lower end NVGs (N15, PNV10T) more susceptible to being blown out by light
    -edited the GPNVGs color to be less babyshit green and more blue/white
    -included my Amand's Graphic's file so your game and NVGs can look way better if you want

  • Do you know what setting to turn down the brightness in the moonlight. Every Night raid is still lit up in the nvgs.

    • sorry for the incredibly late reply, but you should be able to tweak that in the night brightness settings in Amand's Graphics. i dont know off the top of my head if it's an advanced mode setting in BepInEx so make sure to tick that too :thumbup:

  • Issue with the Armasight Zeus thermal. There's no 8x fusion mode, but 2 8x white-hot modes. Also, there's a hard cutoff of vision, maybe ~100 meters away. Using Amand's graphics with the included SBNV config.

  • So I only have one question about the settings; How do I adjust the light sensitivity of my NODs? I hate having a clear evening with the moon shining, and it basically makes any surface bathed in moonlight the brightness of the sun. Even the clear evening sky looks like I am seeing the setting sun through Night vision. If I could have someone point out how I keep my NVG's from mistaking the moon for the sun, please let me know

  • Just downloaded this roughly half an hour ago and I got the exact same issue listed below while using a Spectre DR. I also had an issue where whenever I come out of some kind of inventory, the world would go black for a second similar to how it looks in scopes.

    • The issue might actually be linked with SurroundDepthofField being hold breath only. I turned it off and it seemed to fix it.

  • The amands cfg file seems to mess the vision you can see through the scope while holding breath. Happens only with variable zoom optics.

    I have no problems using SVNG without the cfg file. Would be extremely happy if you can fix this.

  • do you know what thermal palette the flir is, I really like the green background with white/red signatures and wanted to swap the T-7's palette to it

    • No clue, but I do plan to update the thermals eventually to make them moreorless equivalent to their IRL counterparts eventually once I figure out how.

    • Sounds cool, looking forward to it. Does that also entail increasing the thermal's range, the flir says sighting range ingame says it has a sighting of 500 but seems to be maybe <200 in actuality?

  • Im not sure if its Amand's graphics mod or this one but i have a problem with my game. Whenever i go into my inventory whether or not its looting a body, chest or just pressing tab. Whenever i exit my inventory the screen goes black for like 2 seconds and then goes back to normal. Do you have any idea either what is causing it or how i could fix it?

    • That would most likely be the Amand's Graphics blur settings that you can turn off with Advanced Settings.

      Angler from the future here: I can confirm the statement below was accurate.

      Turn UIDepthOfField - Off ; It will resolve the issue with the black screen after toggling UI.


      Once again, I have literally no idea what is causing it. And I am about as bright as a broken lamp post. So, not like I could even begin to understand how I mucked it up.

    • Apologies on the late reply, but I changed the PVS-14s and GPNVGs to be White Phosphor Tubes instead. This is intended, and the PVS-14s are way less shit then they were in vanilla since they are damn good night vision IRL.

  • Hello. I just tried to redownload the previous version 1.0.2, and noticed none of the previous versions are available. I accidentally deleted it, and still run SPT-AKI 3.4.1 (for performance reasons - potato laptop). Is it possible to have the older previous listed versions accessible so I can regrab it? Thanks in advance.

    • It should (dont quote me on it) still work as intended as long as you aren't running Amand's. You should update to 3.5.5 though. I do not keep older versions as they are moreorless the same between eachother.

    • if you still havent figured it out you delete the bundles folder and the bundles json files

  • Would it be possible for you to include a preview of the T-7 like the rest of the goggles?

    Otherwise nice mod, looks highly promising, even as someone who very rarely dabbles in night raiding.

    • The T-7 looks the same as it does in vanilla, just with a view thats slightly bigger than how I have the PVS-14 set up. <3

  • Ayy, would you be willing to up the distance cap of the thermal scopes? After a certain range they just don't render anything anymore. I know there is another mod with this functionality, but I'm pretty sure there would be conflicts if I used both at the same time.
