A random message will appear in the console ranging from general tips to outright out of context remarks. The goal of this mod is to test out functions as well as give the player some cool messages whenever the main menu loads (on game start, end of raid, etc.). 1. Navigate to the mod's releases: https://github.com/KittehKun/welcome-messages/releases
3. Download Kitteh-WelcomeMessages.zip
4. Unzip the archive to your SPT-AKI mods folder located at {Your SPT-AKI Installation}/user/mods
5. Enjoy!
I have a question about this mod - I've looked in to the config/messages.json file and I wanted to see if I could add my own messages but I wanted to ask first before I change anything so can we add our own quotes or will it break the mod?
Is there anyway I can remove the Welcome message bar from the main menu all together? I can see this mod is well out of date.
You'd have to create a mod to remove the "BETA" message component from the main menu all together as my mod only modifies the text that displays in the beta message. You can however always remove the mod from your SPT-AKI installation which will revert the messages back to normal.
