Welcome Messages 2.2

Welcome Messages is a mod that displays text when the game loads into the main menu. A random message will appear in the console ranging from general tips to outright out of context remarks.

The goal of this mod is to test out functions as well as give the player some cool messages whenever the main menu loads (on game start, end of raid, etc.). Currently, there's only a handful of messages however there will be a plethora of messages in the future.

    3. Download Kitteh-WelcomeMessages.zip

    4. Unzip the archive to your SPT-AKI mods folder located at {Your SPT-AKI Installation}/user/mods

    5. Enjoy!

    The messages will now appear as a Message of the Day instead of showing as a console message. Each time the main menu is loaded, a message will now display to the player.

  • Why is it written that the current version is 2.2, and in the package file.json is version 2.1.0? Why do you still have old versions of the mod in your folder?
    Please repackage your two mods properly, otherwise it is unclear which version is current and which is not

  • Great but how to use it with another language (I will do my messages in french) ?

      The messages will need to be manually translated. I can run them through a translator however I'm unsure of the accuracy of the results.

    • Russian has now been added! I had to use a translation engine as none of my friends speak fluent russian. Apologies for any spelling or grammatical errors.
