Cant find correct .net to download for windows 11

My friend is trying to use the spt patcher to downgrade 12.12.17566 to the 12.12.15.17349. We have tried a total of about 7 different .Net installs and none work. Which one is the correct one? We did try to use the one provided on the patcher site. But to no avail.

We are trying to do the patcher portion first. It keeps giving him an error stating that he does not have an app that supports the patcher. It keeps saying it's not a Microsoft verified app when running the patcher.

Also, how do you close your own thread? I tried to close it but failed.

He just downloaded all of them and it did not work.

He is now getting an error when trying to move the SPT 2.3.1 files into the patched files. It is giving the 0x80004005 error code when moving the server, launcher, and a few others. Any ideas why?

That worked. He did purchase the game from the BSG website. The spt launcher is now saying that he should buy the game and install it. However, He has the game installed in his battle state games folder. The spt version is in another folder. Which is located in the same directory as the battle state games folder. Any ideas why he is getting that error message?
