Cannot purchase anything without game timeout

Game suddenly kept timing out whenever I go to purchase something. Had this issue before, so I uninstalled and reinstalled only to have the same problem. I know the sheer amount of mods I have doesn't exactly help, but I wasn't having this problem last week with the same mods installed.

AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh, I post this then figure out the problem like five minutes later, I swear to god. Content from one of the past mods I had didn't get deleted properly before I removed it, so it was my fault, oops.

For others with the same issue: if you have old mod content in your inventory that you want to get rid of so you can uninstall the mod, sell/discard it, then do a quick raid first before leaving the game because sometimes the game won't save it as being sold otherwise.
