Copy/Paste your profile somewhere else, reinstall and copy/paste back. Normally no problem as long as you are on the same version, don't forget to make sure you install the same mods (if you have any) before opening the (new) game.
If you have mods installed that adds items to your profile and then paste the profile back in without having the same mods (in your new install), the game cant reproduce those items, and you will have to delete them manually in your profile from a text editor. But if you don't have any mods that generate items, it's simply copy/paste.

Using mods that add new items to your game/profile creates a requirement to use that same mod on the profile forever. Not doing so often results in profile corruption.
You copy your profile from the old user/profiles folder to your new user/profiles spt folder.
If you use mods on your profile, you will need to download versions of those mods from the hub that are compatible with 3.6.1.
