  • Hey there sorry for the late reply. Currently the windows mixed reality controllers don't have support added, the only issue being that controller bindings aren't configured yet, but if you still want to go the extra mile, you can try settings the bindings yourself through the SteamVR menu

  • I'm having this issue where my controller seems to be stuck at my feet facing a certain axis and it won't actually track to select menus or anything. When I open the steamvr menu it tracks normally and I can select things. . I'm assuming I'm dumb and missing a setting somewhere, if anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great.

  • i tried to add my own custom bindings but they didnt register for some reason

I think the main thing is getting the poses setup so the movements of your controllers work in SPT-VR then you can see if the buttons are working when interacting with the main menu with the laser pointer.

I can't remember how to set it up exactly but it's in the SteamVR bindings menu, there should be something for posing and I think you need to set the left/right hand skeleton or pose to each controller respectively

It sounds like the bindings for your controllers aren't setup or registering, are you also using the windows mixed reality controllers? Refer to the comment I posted above about setting the poses to get the controllers mapped to the in game hands, hopefully that'll fix the issue you're having

    Release V1.0.1 - Weapon tracking/IK fixes + more

I've spent the past few weeks since the first release working on improving the handling of weapons like how they track to your hands and move around when entering two-handed mode, as well as various other massive improvements like fixing weapon jittering, added an option to hide arms and legs, fixed issues with object culling and more, here is a full list of the improvements made:

    • Fixed most of the hands and weapon jittering
    • Weapon should no longer move positions when entering two handed mode
    • Hands should now line up better with your controllers when a weapon is equipped
    • Added a toggle for hands only mode that removes the arms in the VR settings tab
    • Added a toggle to hide the legs in the VR settings tab
    • Fixed a lot of the object culling issues so now nothing nearby should be culled and walls or ceilings won't be see through like on interchange, looks much better but there's a small hit to performance
    • Added snap turn option
    • Adding graphics setting for different distant shadow methods
    • Improved VR settings menu layout
  • Thank you for hard work, this is amazing! One question about the graphic >> Is it possible to fix DLSS for VR? Currently it looks like the resolution of the DLSS result does not match the VR render resolution. I think DLSS can help us remove the aliasing in VR , like the Into the radius.

  • Having issues getting the game to work with Quest 2. I do what the instructions say and the game never boots into vr mode. I launched a raid in desktop mode and my pov was upside down and still not in vr mode

    I'm having the same issue.

Even when I start it from SteamVR, it starts up like a normal 2D game, and even when I set off on a raid it's displayed upside down.

I tried it on Quest Pro and Quest 3 with a virtual desktop.

SPT and Tarkov have been updated, and SPT-VR is no longer compatible?

Doesnt work on 3.10, tested it when 3.10 was still in bleeding edge. Fingers crossed it updates soon.

  • For some reason I cant use my quest 3 controllers in the game. The headset works. I tried to change the pose settings in the steamvr settings but they change back to default after closing the settings. Is there a more detailed instruction as to how im supposed to setup my controllers?

Release V1.0.2 - Update to SPT 3.10 and some small improvements

I was previously working on getting a left handed mode as well as adding some more motion sickness support options but decided to put that on the back burner for a little bit as SPT 3.10. This update doesn't add anything special and might break some stuff I missed but for the most part things appear to be working. Below is a list of changes and known bugs/isssues:

    Improvements

    • Updated to SPT 3.10 including support for transit
    • You can now play the game in flatscreeen mode without removing the install files if no headset is picked up by steamvr
    • Finally fixed the position of the right hand laser pointer
    • Fixed some issues with guns in the hideout
    • Fixed issue with using multiple of the same grenade causing issues
    • Improved positioning of grenades to VR controller
    • Slightly improved grenade accuracy

    Known Bugs

    • The BTR is enterable if you look at the door, and you can use the menu in the BTR but the camera positioning is kind of off and selecting the talk to driver menu option doesn't do anything at the moment
    • Some really nice clouds were added in the updated version of Tarkov but unfortunately I have not found a way to get them rendering correctly in VR, so at the moment they are disabled. If anyone wants to help with this please let me know!!
  • i have a problem

it start good on main menu but when i load in to raids all i see is freeze image when i look around nothing but i can hear shots and i can hear foot steps when i move around but the screen (vr) is just a freeze image

i tried with no other mods just Vr mod and still the same

This release fixes the bug with scopes not working caused by changing from SPT 3.9 to 3.10, please note some scopes are still not configured and will still not work but the majority of them should still be working.
