Game Progress gets compelely wiped after adding a few extra mods?

So I was enjoying spt for a while until I wanted to up the amount of loose loot on the ground for ledx quests, when I eventually found out how to do it, I extracted all the mods I wanted into the folder, read all the README files, and messed with some config files. When I went to launch the game after all this I find that my I could not log into my account, and when I made a new one, it was completely reset. Quests, money, guns, items, hideout all reset to square one. Note: I did not use ANY mods other than SPT until this point.

Something I forgot to add to the original post is that even when I make a new account, every time I quit the game I have to register again.
