is the BSG launcher and the game actually installed on your laptop?

so if you open the launcher on your laptop, go settings, can you find the file path to live on there?

the client log is password locked, can you redo it and not password it?

go to your SPT install location/user/launcher open config

this is basically what your settings page on the launcher shows, make sure the game paths are correct and URL

when you try to open the thread, it will tell you to paste the logs to the codepaste links

ok regards OP, i have been able to look at the logs and i see there are two errors, one regards the BE and EasyAssetPatch.

now we might be able to resolve this in one go,

EasyAssetPatch error seems to be solved by deleting and uninstalling all things EFT/SPT and starting again, including BSG's launcher.

once you have got all things installed again, restart the process of installing SPT and see if you get both errors again

hmm, personally not sure how to fix this if it works for a fresh account, im guessing something in the profile is unreadable, unfortunately nothing in the logs indicate what is unreadable or what is causing the overall screen to have issues

When one of the guys get around to it, normally pretty quick imo

Open your BSG launcher and update your game to latest

Ahh, the only issue is there is no patcher up for the latest version of eft right now so update live to latest and wait for a new patcher to be uploaded

That’s the latest version, you need to download this version of the patcher

Just to check, what’s your version number on the eft exe? And the versions on the patcher?

When I get to my pc I’ll check the logs see if there is anything different

This is usually down to .net, I’m unable to view the logs as on my phone atm, 3.5 4.7.2 and 5.0 usually 4.7.2 is the one for this, if it says you have it installed, uninstall it and reinstall it, the place you download the spt-aki server and launcher has links to the .net

Try it without mods, if it fixes it, a mod is borking it

Try without mods, see if it’s the same, if not a mod is borking something

There are registry keys which I’d assume are deleted when uninstalling the launcher etc, try with new folders I don’t see how that would matter, but worth trying now rather than after reinstalling

The server basically takes no resources, if you are thinking of doing this because of the lag spikes/lower frames that is because of bots and that is all done on the client

If you still want to do this then maybe someone else can help as I haven’t tried to do it or seen a guide on it, I know it’s possible tho
