you usually can't get quest items before you get to the quest but for some reason Fence was selling a quest item.

It is useful for the quests that you need to plant quest items like golden zibbo or the quest blast from the past from prapor.

No it goes into your quest inventory. I bought a quest item from Fence and I'm a few quests away from it, and would like to store it in a place that I won't lose it if I die.

Edit: you can see your quest inventory and stash in the tasks tab in your character menu

I have read the other thread that has the same name as this one but I have two different results when I search for "questitemstash" and don't know if it is the same problem.

I also don't see the quest stash at all.
