Cannot move quest items into quest stash

I have read the other thread that has the same name as this one but I have two different results when I search for "questitemstash" and don't know if it is the same problem.

I also don't see the quest stash at all.
the other post was closed otherwise I would have commented

quest items are automatically added to the quest stash when you extract with "survived" status with the item picked up and you can view the quest stash in the tasks tab on the main menu in the character section

unless you're saying that when you pick up quest items and extract with "survived" it doesn't get auto-added to the quest stash?

No it goes into your quest inventory. I bought a quest item from Fence and I'm a few quests away from it, and would like to store it in a place that I won't lose it if I die.

Edit: you can see your quest inventory and stash in the tasks tab in your character menu

quest inventory is only for when you pick up quest items in-raid, it is wiped when you die

And yet there is supposed to be an option to transfer those items to your stash quest item storage so you don't have to keep them on you if you want to do something else.

That choice doesn't exist. The button is there, but the space isn't.

no, I just saw it on mine too, I guess I never noticed it because I never go for quest items till I'm on that quest but this is a problem

you usually can't get quest items before you get to the quest but for some reason Fence was selling a quest item.

It is useful for the quests that you need to plant quest items like golden zibbo or the quest blast from the past from prapor.

there seems to have been a bug, there is currently a fix being looked into for the dev branch and when that comes out should hopefully be fixed.
