It may be your anti-virus preventing the patcher from working. You can try disabling your AV.

Usually this is caused by either an anti-virus or mismatching client versions, but it seems like OP figured it out.

Do you see escape from tarkov in your programs and features? (See attached)
The only requirement for that check is that the game is installed.
You can try verifying the game through the BSG launcher or reinstalling the game

I would try to make sure all the spt files are in your spt client folder. The launcher has a directory option, but I don't know if the server or anything else needs to be in the same directory.

But if you want to try it, we should see if you are getting any exceptions in the logs now.
if you don't get a launcher.log file, than most likely no exceptions have occurred.

Yep. It is throwing a ton of "Access to path denied" errors for the image cache. Catching the exception will allow it to work, you just won't have images in the launcher.
You can fix this by making sure you have read-write access to your entire spt directory and it's sub directories.

Here is another launcher exe. Same deal as before, just try to run it and post the logs here. I think this might be a permissions problem, but not sure yet.

Does pressing the back button in the settings menu not do anything visually?

Interesting. So this new launcher put into the folder made the launcher not run for some reason. Included the server.log as a result. This launcher does, however, read "connecting" instead of "ok".

Sorry, when I said backup I meant to say, make a copy. You need the full Aki_Data folder still.
The launcher isn't connecting that time because the server is failing to load without the database.
You'll just want to copy the files I gave into the spt folder and replace the files after you have backups.

Here is a launcher with a lot more logging in it, just so I can see where things are going wrong (need a starting point for this one, doesn't make sense to me atm)
backup your current Aki_Data and Aki.Launcher.exe before extracting these files into your spt folder (unless you don't care about potentially having to re-setup spt by overwriting them).
When you have a chance, extract the files into your spt folder, run the launcher, and post the `<spt-dir>/user/logs/launcher.log` file here so I can see were it is committing die.

It seems that the AKI Launcher (Aki.Launcher.exe) isn't running properly, as it hasn't cleaned out some files that it's supposed to (such as the Battleye folder). Are you running the game through our launcher? If so, do you have .NET 6 installed?
Could I ask you to additionally attach your launcher log file, if it exists? Should be \user\logs\launcher.log
EDIT: I noticed the FAQ was still asking people to install .NET 5. I've corrected that - it should now point to .NET 6
Terkoiz It should only do that when you launch the game. It looks it just halts for some reason before switching views or the logic for switching views is failing somehow.
Iceberg92 are you able to open the settings menu when this happens? If you can, can I get a picture of the settings menu?
Also, is the progress bar under OK moving or is it frozen? -
bignuts995 can you try this one and let me know if you get any errors? Just replace the other patcher.exe.
Try to use a fresh eft folder copy (not one that you tried to patch already) just to be safe.

The new patcher version (1.11.0) has been re-added and should hopefully fix that issue.
