    Common Issues

    • If zones are not working for you, make sure you aren't using SamSWAT.HeliCrash
      • Latest version from Arys seems to work, you may still have issues.
    • Stash Row rewards do not show until you restart the client or extract from a raid
    • If you install this while on 3.8.0, You will not be able to do the stash expansion quests.

  • Melee quest does not get progressed at all if you get a kill with the Gladius (664a5428d5e33a713b622379). does anyone know how to fix this?

    • There's a modded weapon config, I must have missed the Gladius when it was added to SPT but you can just put that ID in the melee slot in that config.

  • would be cool if in the future some quests can mention other modded traders (like viper or lotus for example)

    • That wouldn't make sense for lore if you don't have those mods, so I don't think I'll ever include it. Eventually I'll go back to finishing the quest lines for this mod but I'm still burnt out on building quests.

    • i meant having those mentions pop up only if you have those traders installed

  • Can you please put a guide for the weapon acquisition questions please or give us an option to skip or remove these quests.

    • A guide isn't really necessary if you use the weapon preset builder. If you need to skip them, you can download and use the mod "Skipper"

    I have a problem with the quest “The Bet II”. I can't reset it and it remains “failed.

    In which .json file can I modify the problem?

    I've copied the original file, but it doesn't change anything!

    Do I need to change anything in my profile file?

    Can I make the quest active directly in the Scorpion quest file? By making it resettable?

    • You need to update to a later version of Scorpion. That is a very old bug.

      If you have that version and it isn't restartable then you have another mod breaking it. It's marked as restartable and can be re-accepted.

  • Anyone have a clue where "The highest point on Interchange" is ?
    I don't play the map and don't know it so the quest "Let's go to the mall" doesn't make any sense to me.

    • I recommend getting the Dynamic Maps mod to go with any custom trader's quests. Makes life a whole lot easier.

    • you can also use GTFO to see objective locations for custom quests

    • It's the part of the map that lets you get to the highest point. It's the big billboard in the corner of interchange that doesn't really have anything at all. There's a gate you can open and climb the stairs.

    • @LeftHandedCat GTFO doesn't seem to work with custom quests on Fika.

  • "Going Crazy" quest have issue in progressing the night kills any idea why this would be and any help in solving it?

    • I have not heard of any issues with this quest as long as you are actually selecting the night map.

    • Yea I 'm doing that killed 2 of the 3 but still 0/3 as result after that so i extracted when it didn't count. both also headshots.

    • You'd have to check your mods for a conflict. Like fika, or possibly a mod changing time of raids. I cannot assist without any logs.

  • So after doing Weapon Proficiency III to kill 8 bosses with the weapon, the next mission is Proficiency IV - to kill the same 8 bosses again? Sorry but that is a kick in the balls and I hope is a placeholder.


    Killing 100 targets would be more fun than repeating the 8 boss quest again.

    • Weapon Proficiency and The Bet quests are meant to be done over the course of regular gameplay through the whole "wipe" and not "I'm going to smash through this quest"


      There are also differences between them.

    • I hope you'll reconsider them in a future update, I love this mod so far, but this one is a real blow to the gut, a grindy task like this is something BSG would do to slow progression. It's just not fun.


      To kill all 8 bosses 7 times with different weapons is a pretty long task, but to do it 14 times (I assume all Part 4s are just repeats).


      Really hope you reconsider and change part 4 to something fun. Killing 100 targets with the weapon is fun and done over a course of a playthrough, killing bosses with a specific weapon is more of a "smash through" quest :/

  • having an issue with The Route, no prompt is showing at all for palcing markers, quest mod that will show quest locations on screen will not even acknowledge that those are quest locations, but my 2 friends can comeplete quest just fine on the server we are running.

    • Fika has random issues with VCQL quest zones, nothing I can do about it as I don't manage either of those mods.

    • no known fix? my current workaround i guess is another mod to allow to skip the bugged task xD

    • It's something with fika and VCQL, Iwe talked with Virtual about it and we have no idea why sometimes the zones don't load.

  • Is the "kill any targets in Sanatorium" on Shoreline bugged? I am not sure if there is only a small space where the kills need to happen, but it doesn´t count at all for any of my team. We did several fights there, but nothing counted at all. Unsure if we simply did not hit the right spot for killing anyone there.

    • The entire fenced area is the kill zone for it, but considering you are saying team there is sometimes weirdness with VCQL zones and fika.

    • Yeah, could be. The killquest on Interchange for the central elevators seems to be the same while in group :)

  • Planning on implementing custom images for the quests? As in a different one for each quest rather than the same lol?

    • Eventually. This mod is basically on life support/bugfixing at the moment as I have zero motivation to work on quest stuff lately. That's the difficult part of managing so many mods.


      Eventually Scorpion will be set for full release that will include per quest images and the final quest chain (outside of Event quests)

  • Just wondering. How do you create locales for the trader name/location/description? I see there is a function addTraderToLocales, but not sure where to put locales so that it can pick them up.

  • For Orange Justice, does the quest reward with a new craft for the LEDX or does it just unlock it early if you don't have Medstation 3 yet?

  • I installed VCQL and did load order first but I got this error when start the server !

    • You're missing the VCQL bepinex mod, which is due to incorrectly installing VCQL.


      If you have the dll in \bepinex\plugins\, then this error can also happen if you are using linux or fika (and can be ignored)

  • I'm having an issue turning in Weapon Acquisition VII. I'm meeting the requirements, but it's not registering. I don't believe I use any other weapon attachment mods (unless they come included with Lotus).

    • It would be good to screenshot the weapon you built. I haven't seen any actual issues with those quests since they were created

    • The requirements for those quests are also in the message that Scorpion sends you, just so you don't have to go all the way back to trader to see the requirements. Advice just for future playthroughs!

  • Hey I just want to say, great mod, thanks alot im having a lot of fun with the new tasks!


    Im on the last version for 3.8.3, 0.10.0 and noticed that the G36 wasn't counting towards the Weapon Proficiency quest for AR's, is this a known thing or am I mistaken? I read through the following versions patch notes to see if it was mentioned but didn't see any mention.


    I wanted to add its ID to the modded weapon compatibility json to verify but I don't know how I would go about finding that.


    EDIT: After looking through my profile json I found the G36 tpl (623063e994fc3f7b302a9696) and added it, can confirm it is tracked correctly on the proficiency quest

  • Hello, I see that your mod has a Chinese Simplified translation, but I can't find it in the game, what do I need to do to be able to use it?

    • Because SPT does not support splitting zh-cn and zh-tw natively - They are in standalone folders.


      If you would like the Chinese Simplified translation, copy the ScorpionLocale.json from the zh-cn folder to the ch folder.


      If you would like the Traditional Chinese translation, copy the ScorpionLocale.json from the zh-tw folder to the ch folder.


      I hope this helps you - I am sorry for making it extra steps but I wanted to support both TW & CN.

  • On Armor Delivery V, unless I am missing something here or there is a skill issue at play, I cannot plant the armors on the car in Labs without extracting. Extracting takes 9 seconds, planting each armor takes 15.

    • BSG expanded the extract sizes in the tarkov client version SPT uses for 3.9.x - this will be fixed on the next release to move that place items location

  • Problem with quest ,,weapon proficiency - melee,, no matter how many pmcs i stab it doesnt count torwards the quest neither when killing them with a chop or a stab

  • Hey bro, i really do like this mod but i have a problem with the quest ,,monitoring,,.

    Appearently i cant put the wifi cameras anywhere i tried every exit multiple times every corner but it doesnt work.

    Do you know hot to fix it?

    • Idk how tbh i just pressed the big blue download button and downloaded it

    • The latest version fixes the cameras for Monitoring. They are placed right outside the doors that lead into the extraction zone. If you are not getting the prompts then I would need logs to do any real troubleshooting.

    • Is there like a way to update the mod without losing my quest progress and loyalty level?

    • Follow the install instructions on the overview of the mod again and it'll be updated.

  • Is The Route bugged on ground zero? Your guide says there are 2 ambulances, but the mission has 3 ambulances.

  • Is there a quick way to have the assort limited to only the items you unlock by doing quests? As in start off with no items until you unlock them.


    Edit: I figured out how to do it.

  • There's an issue with the quest "Monitoring", when trying to put the cameras on the locations, due to the increased size of the extraction zone you dont have enough time to put them. I think changing the location just outside the extraction would fix this.

    Found the issue, this mod has been packed without the .dll in the bepinex folder

    • This mod isn't supposed to come with the dll.


      Go download VCQL and install it as per the install instructions.

  • A small mistake, the Chinese languag is placed

    \user\mods\Virtual's Custom Quest Loader\database\locales\ch

    not in zh-cn/zh-TW

    • There should be fall back in place for SPT for zh-cn


      I'm not sure if that applies for VCQL so I'll work on a workaround

      I mean is that the Chinese language should be placed in the CH folder not ZH-Cn

  • small problem with the "hardware transfer" quest. assuming the laptop is meant to be on the shoe in the foyer of the cabin, something shows there but i cant interact with it. may need a small adjustment?

    • It's a vanilla quest item, not added by this mod so the location is based on where BSG coded it.

    • The quest guide is severely outdated. It's a ton of work to maintain but I'll get to it eventually. If you need assistance you'll need to clarify what you need.

    • There aren't that many quests left planned to be released - the beta tag for the mod is mostly a disclaimer at this point.


      The assort is probably 75% done.

      Quests are probably 90% done (excluding event quests)


      The Quest Map contains the currently planned quests as "Placeholders" but it's all subject to change.
