Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.
Notice: I'm stepping back from my SPT mods for now and have added some known community authors in the case that I am out of touch, which is very likely to happen in the next months. These authors are not obligated to anything, just want to make sure that someone can add a maintainer in the future. My SPT projects were started to keep me occupied after a death in my immediate family and I've lost interest in Tarkov for now.
Tired of getting lost? Here's an in-game map viewer with dynamic information overlaid on-top, including extracts, quests, player and teammate markers, corpses, the BTR, player-dropped backpacks, airdrops, and locked doors. More features after the screenshots.

- Out-of-raid, green with key means player has it in inventory, yellow with key means key in stash, red with lock otherwise

- Replace Map Screen: If the map should replace the BSG default map screen, requires swapping away from modded map to refresh
- Center on Player Hotkey: Pressed while the map is open, centers the player
- Move Map * Hotkey: Hotkey to move the map *
- Move Map Hotkey Speed: How fast the map should move, units are map percent per second
- Change Map Level * Hotkey: Hotkey to move the map level * (shift-scroll also does this in map screen)
- Zoom Map * Hotkey: Hotkey to zoom the map * (scroll also does this in map screen)
- Zoom Map Hotkey Speed: Zoom Map Hotkey Speed
- Dump Info Hotkey: Pressed while the map is open, dumps json MarkerDefs for extracts, loot, and switches into root of plugin folder (only shows in advanced config mode)

- Show Player Marker: If the player marker should be shown in raid
- Show Friendly Player Markers: If friendly player markers should be shown

- Centering On Player Zoom Level: What zoom level should be used as while centering on the player (0 is fully zoomed out, and 1 is fully zoomed in)
- Peek at Map Shortcut: The keyboard shortcut to peek at the map
- Hold for Peek: If the shortcut should be held to keep it open. If disabled, button toggles

This update REQUIRES a config wipe. When asked to overwrite your config, make sure you do so. Failing to do so may cause issues. You've been warned.
- Completely rewrote the mini map feature and cleaned up some code.
- Mini map zoom in/out is page up/down by default. (configurable in the F12 menu)
- Mini map position is fixed in the top right for now (I will address this later)
- There are now animations to smooth out transitions between map views. (Disable in the F12 menu)
- Map zoom and position are now saved for the duration of the raid in peek view and map(tab) view.
- You cannot have `remember map position` and `reset zoom on center` or `auto center on player maker` enabled at the same time. They will disable the options they need disabled when enabled.

Been talking to Cj (mod maintainer) about this for a little while. He inherited the mod (i.e. didn't write the original code), and it needs a rewrite/overhaul.
Issue tends to happen after the 2nd (and subsequent) raid, regardless if switching areas/raids or not. I've just gotten in the habit of re-zooming the map every raid.

The only time I've seen a quest stay is if it's not completed. Usually when you have to survive for example to complete it.

Yeah, I'm talking about individual objectives not entire quests. So if I have to collect 3 objects and extract, the markers for each item stay as I'm collecting them. If I toggle markers on and off, they update according to what I've already done but I feel like this should happen automatically.
And yeah, when the whole quest is complete they don't reappear next time but that's not the issue.

Love the mod, I'm a beginner in tarkov and this helped me at the beginning to know where are the enemies, what is my location and so on. Then as I started to grab confidence I was disabling some of those markers and pretty much just use the quick Map peak to know where are some items.
There is one frequen problem than I experience sometimes in some raids (not all of them) it's that the map zoom is changing, in some raids I would have to go to the Map tab and adjust the zoom so i can see clearly in my shortcut, but sometimes the "default" zoom is like all the way in and there so I can't zoom out even more, only zoom in. This aswell affects the minimap, when this happens I'm not able to zoom out aswell, just zoom in

Thank you for updating to 3.10 so fast you are AMAZING I LOVE this mod! One little thing I noticed that didn't happen in 3.9 is that if I disable the minimap in the f12 menu, it then makes the main map (M) about the same size as the minimap a little bigger, but fully zoomed out. The workaround for this is to just press END every raid to hide minimap, and the regular map is the correct size. Not a huge deal, but just a little something I noticed. I am playing on 4k with DLSS on quality if that has anything to do with the UI scale. Love your mod so much ty

appreciate you! just thought I'd update you and let you know I was wrong and just had a raid on woods where the map was minimap size again right at the beginning even before I turned off the minimap with END. Now it just seems random when it happens. Not sure whats up but it's happened so far on woods and ground zero if that matters for you. appreciate all the work you do

Having a weird issue where my main map zoom is resetting after each raid. Is there a file or config that is being rewritten after each raid? Any suggestions on what I can do to remove this issue?

I wish the minimap would stay hidden when I leave raids with the minimap hidden. I think the feature is super cool, I just want to use it specifically when I can't find something to keep the immersion a bit.
It was also resetting my zoom setting after earch raid, rollback helped me.
Maybe just an issue on my end i dont know.

Unfortunately, the hotkey for hiding the minimap no longer works properly after 0.4.2.
It expands for a moment and then returns to its original state.
Use of the “Enable Minimap” still works.
A rollback to 0.4.2 fixes my problem.
No relevant log found.

You fixed it, thanks, but why when I hit the minimap zoom in and out button my frametime gets mad mad high till i stop zooming? toggling stuff like minimap, blips or changing zoom in the menu also increases frametime like crazy. I remember version 0.4.2 was very smooth and I had basically no frametime difference at all when zooming or toggling stuff. I really like the new changes, but I'm thinking about rolling back until it's fixed.... I also reset all the configurations.
Otherwise everything works perfectly and smoothly.

Suggestion: Add potential stash locations to the map and option to show if a stash actually spawned there with the stash status toggle.
I'd be really helpful for me as I'm a beginner trying to learn the stashes locations, but turning on a separate map on my phone just to see where the stashes are is a nuisance.

This mod is awesome. I like being able to see skulls on the map to find bodies easier, but it feels a bit cheesy to always know when I get a kill. Would it be possible to have an option so that corpse markers only appear after looting that body?

I love this mod. I do have one suggestion, though.
You already have different colors for each AI type, that being orange for scavs, red for PMCs, and purple for certain bosses. But when scavs/PMCs/some bosses are dead, they use the same color marker. A red skull. Can you keep the orange for scavs and make ALL bosses use purple fore both alive and dead?
I'm asking because I've lost PMC bodies in a pile of other bodies several times,

running into an issue where the zoom bar on the left side of the screen appears on my screen at the beginning of raid and if i hit M to quick open the map it goes away but it also is then not appearing when i use the map tab in my inventory
