    So what happened was that the dialogue text appears in the server window. I removed the line that was referencing this.logger without reading it properly. Meaning that I removed a vital line needed for Sally to send you insurance dialogue. For now, the dialogue options shows up in the server window. I'm far too cautious to attempt to remove it. I just want a working mod. Sorry for all this, truly. I know how it feels when something isn't working and all you wanna do is to melt my cpu and retire me from mods. I feel you ;)

  • Heh! I'm using your mod but it doesn't seem to be compatible with ServerValueModifier(SVM), I've tried to exclude every setting of SVM by exclusion but nothing helps, all the bullet boxes bought from Sally are 0/50 and then all the merchants can't buy any items!

    • Which version are you on? I highly suggest not messing with the trader inside of SVM.

    • 3.9.8spt But the SVM trader setting is off, as soon as SVM turns on any of the settings the bullet box is 0/50, other than the bullet box other items are available for purchase from Sally, I'm a bit confused as to why this is the case

    • I meant trader version. This works on any 3.9.X version.

      Well, if you enable anything trader related in SVM, I imagine that it would indeed mess things up with modded traders.

    • Oh, it's 0.1.6 Sally, it will be restored after turning off SVM, let's use it temporarily.

  • Is there a way to lower her sell prices? It seems that most of the things I wanted to buy from her are double or even triple the price from other traders. For example her med case is like 1.5 Million when Therapist's is only like 550K. As of right now I just don't see any reason to buy anything from her, unless it's to level up.

    Also is there a reason she does not require rep to level her up?

    • You can, but I can't. You see, people use different mods in their games that might affect prices. Such as flea function from Realism, etc. In my game, Therapist is more expensive. It's just hard to balance prices when people alter their game.

      Do you have anything affecting flea prices?

      There's no way to add rep to quests right now and therefore her unlock requirements are spending money, and leveling up.

    • I have "LIVE FLEA PRICES" mod but I didn't think that would alter trader prices. Other than that I don't have any other mods (except your and the dependencies) that does anything with traders nor flea market.

    • As for why I made them expensive, it's simply too easy to get money in Spt and after a while the game gets boring when you don't suffer economically.

    • I understand, was just wanting to know if there was like a multiplier setting in the configs to lower the prices. I'm still pretty new to tarkov in general so I have not reached the point where money is easy to get.

    • So is there a way I can manually lower the sell prices or no?

    • Oh, so it was you who added me on Discord. I generally don't accept people unless they let me know in advance or message me beforehand. I couldn't help you as I only speak 2 languages and I wont be translating this to Swedish. What do you need?

    • Yes, I added you to the discord. I wanted to translate the text of the quest into Russian, but I had problems. If I translate only the first two quests from the series: The Cleaner. I'm fine, but then problems start and the server won't start. All characters, commas, dots, quotation marks, are in their places.

    • Most likely a syntax error. Using Notepad++, Sublime, Visual Studio, etc will allow you to see errors easily.

  • Playing with path to tarkov (so nothing is found in raid pretty much ever) I realized sally won't take dogtags from the first quest. Any way to remove found in raid on her tasks?

  • Hi loving the mod so far however after installing this newest update onto my ongoing save all of her quests are locked out for me and my rep is showing as 0.00. Her chats to me for accepting or completing a quest now show as #TC_Part_1# description i have tried re installing the mod and even going back to the version i had installed first 0.1.5.

    *EDIT* Found out the issue was with difficulty quest tweaker removed the mod and everything is working again.

    • Can't do anything without logs. Please send me those.

  • The Cleaner Level 9 may have an issue.

    1-Sally gives the quest as kill 4 BEAR on lighthouse. Code indicates location as factory...so lighthouse kills don't register.

    2-When completed Sally asks if it was fun, as she would have had fun killing USEC....doesn't completely make sense, since it was a kill bear mission.

    • It's suppose to be Factory. When I made quests I had to reorganise them and forgot the text on some. It'll be fixed. But it's Factory you need to play. Thank you for letting me know!

      Do you mean "Please tell me it was fun? Did you enjoy it? I know I would've it was USEC. Couriers are on their way as usual. I need a moment.."?

      She's telling you that she would've enjoyed that if they were USEC, since she doesn't like killing BEAR as indicated by;

      "My friend, I got great news. For you at least... A group of BEAR's were recently seen around Factory. You know what to do. Bring me their bloodied dogtags. I will take a moment of silence for our fallen comrades!"

  • Thanks for nerfing Sally's buy price. I was adjusting it manually every update because she was the best value for literally every category of item.
    I think the new buy prices make her probably the worst value for every item now, especially at LL2 and beyond, but I'm much more okay with making the conscious decision to sell her stuff at a lower monetary value to exclusively to progress her LL.

    • That's good to hear. I can always buff it a bit so it's not as rough as it is. But I prefer more realism and harsher gameplay. I think it's far too easy to get money in Spt...

    • Yeah, prior to this update, this mod and Lotus were the two traders that I'm constantly having to knock back their buy price coef's every time the mod updated to keep things reasonable.
      Mainly because I use other mods that give me a hotkey that sells to the highest bidder and I like that different categories of items sell to different traders, which is really thrown out the window when one trader has wide coverage and good prices.

      And yeah, I tend to agree. I think that having a high LL-cash-requirement with a moderately low buy-price is good for mod-added traders specifically because it makes it a conscious choice to advance those traders for their gear lists versus the vanilla traders for things like their quests and the hideout requirements.

    • So all and all, it's perfectly balanced right now. I think so at least. I've been using her for a little bit and it feels fine.

  • The Cleaner Quest Number Three (Quest on Reserve) was failing to register kills. I looked through your code and it might be line 156 is written "Reserve", when changed to "reserve" (lower case) it started registering USEC kills for me.


    Anyone else have this issue?

    • Yes. Trap's Custom Quest Editor is highly, HIGHLY limited right now. Meaning that there aren't a lot of options to get help with right now. I just don't have the knowledge to do all this manually. If you know, I would appreciate the help. But custom images is a planned feature that Trap will implement eventually. And perhaps with a quest image folder and an edit to mod.ts, it might work well right now.

    the Cleaner - Part:1 seems to count every kill as Scav kill. I tried with a new profile and I only have 8 kills in total, 5 Scav and 3 PMC kills, but the quest shows 7/7 Scav skills as finished.

    Cannot be possible, so I don't know if it is only with this quest or if there is a problem how you count Scavs in all quests...

  • I really enjoy the mods, but is it possible to lower the Value of the Items im selling to her? For my personal playstyle they just feel to high and make me too much money to quickly.

  • I would like to thank everyone for downloading this and sticking with me. This is the first time I'm doing this and it hasn't been easy. Luckily this means that future updates should be problem free since the core is already made. There are of course more quests coming eventually.

    • That would be The3215. He generated the images and selected those from hundreds. He then edited them in photoshop.

      The backstory is me and Chat GPT. Mostly me, but the AI assisted with grammar corrections.

      Thanks, I appreciate the praise. The goal with Sally was to add a trader that offers the same aspects that the game does, while also adding rich lore and interesting backstories.

      She is in PTT already. Me and Trap worked together on making quests, with him updating Custom Quests loader and me doing the hard work.

    • Ask for help instead of trying to fix it yourself. You will save work and frustration from getting information from someone else's point of view. Install Visual Studio Code, the blue one, it's easy to see syntax errors and you use that go build the mod files.

    • Actually, you're good mate. I used the wrong ID for the HDD. I didn't know that the game didn't have working HDD. It's Damaged Hard Drive and not a working one. There are ID's for tons of them. I don't ever pick them up so I wouldn't know.

      Just tested in game and have confirmed which one is needed. Fixed in next update that will be out shortly.

    Have you tried adding the insuranceFailedLabs property to your dialogue to see if it remedies any of the issues? I'm doubtful it's the cause of the insurance dialogue weirdness, but something to at least try.

    • No, I haven't personally experienced any issue with it - I just misunderstood the update description as saying the logger was logging the dialogues to the server console but not actually sending the dialogues. My mistake! animehandrolldance

    • No right now you can see in the server window what I put as dialogue options. That's what I removed the first time and it broke. If you know how to disable it to show, but still work, let me know!

  • I'm trying Sally out and the first thing I notice is that when you use her to insure your items and then die, the game freezes and crashes with a "no dialogue" error in the server logs.

  • Awesome as always. Just out of curiosity: What happens with your profile / quest-states when you start to update or hotfix quests? Is there any chance of some sort of corruption or is it safe to update to the newest version?

    • I have no clue. This is the first time I'm doing anything like this. My assumption is that as long as I don't touch any of the current quest files, everything should be fine in the future. There wont be another update for quite some time, so you should be good.

      I saw your reply below, I would very much like to fix it, but I'd rather have all dogtags instead of something else.

    • As long as quests ids are not touched, completed quests should stay completed and progression of the quests should stay saved in your profile. AFAIK, I don't have experimented any issues on this side but please let me know if you find out any issue about Custom Quests.

  • Unfortunately only the Silver Dogtags are accepted in the Quest, not the Golden and the Purple ones.

    • I know... Sadly they each have a different ID, and not one ID for any dogtag. I can choose silver, gold or purple, but not all...

    • Sad, i've got approx. 150 Dogtags but only maybe 20 are silver.

    • Which are a majority of? I might change it to that. But I guess that depends on level maybe. I don't know what defines which edition bots have...

    • i mainly have golden ones, but there are almost as many purple ones. unfortunately i don't know what it depends on either, i wish i could help.

    • Just dropped an update. Please get the dependency and install Sally 0.0.9 like usual. Have fun and read the FAQ for concerns around quests!

  • Really like this mod and the potential, but I also started running with realism and fika (uncertain if Fika affects anything.) I get these errors and get stuck on the loading profile screen. I don't expect you to make a fix for this specifically to run with realism, but its more so just tossing it out so its something to be aware of. Who knows, maybe I'm being dumb and its something simple like load order!

    • Yeah this has nothing to do with Sally, and nothing to do with Realism. I use Realism and she works just fine. She was actually made with Realism's brutality in mind.

      Can you confirm that it works on your regular game?

    • If you want her to work on Fika, you have to figure it out yourself. I have not a single clue how to make it work with that.

    • PS, try loading Sally, Realism and then Fika over that.

    • Did some light testing, she works perfectly fine whenever fika isn't installed. I've other traders like Artem and Painter that do work fine as well with or without fika. I'll try and figure it out and bring my findings back (if there are any). Thank you for your time!

    • I went on a "date" with her a couple days ago. Safe to say I left there with only one ball left, she took the other one. She is a ball-buster and a business woman through-and-through.

  • The idea seems good, but some of the prices seem a bit out of wack currently. The progression curve with her installed is a bit thrown off because of the quality and prices she offers.

    I like the character and the idea behind it, but I think I'm going to wait a few iterations to have her for a full run. For me personally, a questless trader has gotta be pretty dialed in on the balance and maintaining the power level curve with other traders for me to want to run it.

    I can be a little more forgiving if their shop isn't quite as well tuned if I can install them for quests, new modded gear, or other such things, because making all of that requires taking time away from tuning other things.

    It's a really nice concept and hopefully after a couple of extra passes, it'll end up in the lineup for high-quality trader mods on this site.

    • The prices can be fixed if you let me know which prices are broken. There's currently too many items for me to double check them all, and when I made the prices, I could've missed some.

      I've always found the game super punishing despite me having my flea open. And well, a trader with exceptional wares is something I feel like I could have a use of. I do play with Realism, so for me this is very nice actually.

      As for quests, she will get some, or alot eventually. I'm working on it. With those quests, meaning rep, the level gap will be raised and hopefully that should balance it even more. I'm thinking level 25 for lvl 2 trader, and so on. Making her a long term trader.

  • Loving the mod! However im not sure if its my end, but it seems like the prices of some guns are missing a decimal, Example: MK47 Mutant being 16999 and selling for around 100k to her. and the MK17 being 15500 and selling for around 100k as well. M1A and RSASS also are among this, is this intentional? If so its a bit exploitative since someone can sell these weapons back for profit over and over every restock.

      The rest of the guns should be fine. Sadly there is no way to really know what the prices will be for everyone since prices changes over 3.9.x versions.

      EDIT: Flea unlocks at level 15, maybe I make both of those guns over 130K, meaning that it becomes pointless when you have flea, but punishing before level 15.

    • Yeah she's about 8k cheaper than the closest 100/100 MK47 for me. I'd say probably lock it behind tier 2 maybe? It's currently a tier 1 weapon and im not sure if you wanted a way to access the weapon at lvl 1 early. However, rather than the price increase, tier 2 opens at lvl 15 plus with the roubles spent, and with her selling armor that I usually use i'd be around her rouble mark by 15 anyways so it'd at least be balanced with the way the market is set up. Not really much you can do with the buy > sellback exploit since you could technically just do it with the flea market anyways.

      Also the MP9, MP7 and P90 are all WAY under the market value for me. My MP7 seems broken rn, its clocking in at 170k on the market. However the MP9 is around 90k and the P90 is around 95k

    • I can lock the CMMG behind level 2.

      As for the SMG's, I'll edit those as well and get an update out shortly. The thing is that the price differs between SPT versions, so this will never be 100% balanced. But I can at least keep it close to that on 3.9.5, which I'm on right now.

      Expect an update today, with new weapons as well.

    • PS, can't really do a lot. In my game, those guns are good. I increased them a bit anyways. But for me, they're more expensive than what I get if I sell it back to her.

    • I might consider adding boss items, but we'll see. The whole idea is to not let you buy items that bosses have since future quests will have something to do with bosses. Meaning that you will get boss items.

      And well, yes, she will have quests eventually. I'm working on it but it's far harder to make quests than an actual trader.

      As for new items. I don't wanna stray too far from what she is, which is a western trader pretty much. Which means selling American, German, French, etc gear and equipment. Also ties in with the lore for her, which will be revealed with quests.
