Update 15 Backport 1.0.2

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Why wait for 3.10.0 when you can degel now? Backports ALL weapons, clothing, armor, and attachments from the new EFT Update 15, all implemented exactly according to live EFT! Bot loadouts, world loot, and full localization included.

    Changelog:


    Fixed an issue where AI bots spawning with the new armor or helmets did not have the armor inserts/plates.

    Changed the old DevTac Ronin facecover to the new DevTac Ronin Respirator to match live changes. (Clean your temporary cache in the SPT Launcher settings to ensure the icon properly changes.)

    Added a config.json file, which allows having the items examined by default, as well as disabling the Flea Market restrictions.

    TL;DR:

    - No realism patch included. If you make one, please send it to me so I can add it!

    - Conflicts with MightyCondor's Desert Eagle and M60 backports.


    If there are any major issues, please let me know, but I'm not likely going to put much more work into this, if any. After all, SPT 3.10.0 is getting closer and closer.

      run the spt server and the spt launcher, and in your launcher go to "settings" at the top right, then "copy logs to clipboard". paste them in a folder or something and send em to me (pastebin, anything works).

  • Hey, is it normal for having a long loading screen time when starting the game?

    • while plenty of new bundles need to load, it shouldn't add to the starting time significantly (should be ~5 seconds at most on an SSD). what other mods are you running?

  • the next update will be fairly soon, and will fix the armor on AI enemies as well as changing the old Ronin into the Respirator (i wish i knew why BSG changed the old one instead of just adding it as a new item). i will add in a config file to remove the flea market restrictions and make them examined by default, as well, and then i will most likely stop working on this mod entirely as long as no major issues come up.

    • hi, i did not set the prices, these are all the base prices from BSG, no different from any other unmodded item. you can modify the prices in the handbook.json if you really want to.

  • Sorry if your already aware of this or have already fixed this, but I saw that the new BCM Gunfighter MOD 3 grip (GF MOD3) which have tan & gray variants that attach to handguards such as MOE AK are missing.

  • Hey guys, just letting you know NOT to use the new headsets yet, as it seems to break game headset audio. Yes, even switching to existing headsets will be broken/as though not wearing any ear pro.


    My poor eardrums weren't ready for that factory raid lol


    EDIT: Restarting the game will fix audio. Just make sure to not accidentally put the new ear pro on!

    • The headsets on 1.0.1 work fine for me. Went to factory and switched around between old and new, shot a few times, all seemed to work as expected. Do you have something like Realism's headset changes enabled?

    • hi, if you update to 1.0.1 the headsets will work fine, just make sure to delete the old 1.0.0 folder from your user/mods folder

    -I am a c0ding genius and have managed to disable the custom bot loadouts so no more red helmets and armors.

    +Very fun 10/10 even if the armors are borked.

    • Can confirm the one helmet (Multicam Bastion) I've found spawned without its integral armor. No spawning or loadout mods installed, just the backport.

      Using spt give 66b5f666cad6f002ab7214c2 1 gave me the helmet with integral armor, and it also has integral armor when bought from the flea.

    • Dug into loadouts for my own curiosity and it looks like armors (and helmets) should be listed in the "mods" section just like weapons so you can specify what slots should be filled and with what items.

    • that would be because his bag is blacklisted from the flea market by bsg.


      it can be found (rarely) on AI PMCs. otherwise, you can edit the backpack in the /db/items.json to remove the restriction on flea market.


      the name is a placeholder from BSG and does not change anything about the name displayed in-game.

    • The value of CanSellOnRagfair was True, but it doesn't appear on the flea market.

      I guess his bag is probably not available for now.

    • You've just solved the problem.

      The problem was that the localization mode I was using overwrote this item with the wrong name.

      Since partisans hadn't been added yet in 3.9.8, I didn't expect the localization mode to include a translation of this item.

  • be careful if you update from 1.0 to 1.0.1, if you are not paying attention you will have 2 different folders and the mod won't load. (ty for the mod!)

    • hi, thanks for letting me know, used the wrong build script for this one which adds the version number to the folder so they don't neatly merge, ugh.

    • oh, so you will remove the version number from the things?

      I just removed the old, putted in the new and renamed the dir to "1.0.0" suffix to avoid unnecessary additional downloads from my SPT Server to the Clients :D

  • Hi. Will the DrakiaXYZ Live Flea Prices mod check for these items? Right now, there seems to be a discrepancy with certain items. For example, Comtac 6 shows ~ 63k on SPT, but is around 90k on live.

  • To save RaiRai some sanity:

    I will of course eventually add compatibility for all the new gear and weapons. Either the next Realism update will be released for SPT 3.9.x in the coming weeks and include compatibility for the new stuff, or SPT 3.10 will release and Realism will take a little bit longer to update. Have a bit of patience and you'll get "official" compatibility either way

    I have one issue and that is the deagle ADS is low, almost like it has no sight. Even if sights are attached?

  • The mod is good, I just got to give it a try. The weapons are great.

    BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT USE THE HEADSETS. Due to the differences between the audio patch, they are WAY too loud (dangerously so, peaking at over double the db of my normal game audio with comtac 4s).

    Other stuff is cool as well thankfully.

  • Sick mod, only 2 things I really noticed are the SR3M not showing on the flea at all like all of the other weapons and the new headsets not working and having default (no headset) audio

    • the SR3M is restricted on the flea market, as BSG intended. feel free to edit what you’d like in the db/items.json file.

    • BSG changed some items with update 15 along with adding new ones, so it’s possible the old one was actually changed into it. i’ll check into it though

    • I found how to remove overheating on SR3M, you need to go to the mod folder and follow the path rairaitheraichu-update15backport-1.0.0/db/item.json and find the line "HeatFactorByShot": and set the values to 0
